Any singer knows all too well what it takes to nail that song, if you even can, in the original key. Such a challenging vocal masterpiece.

You'll notice Lou remains quiet during Mick's explanation of origin of JBH, Lou wrote it based on HIS personal experience... not Mick's "Little Story"

Lou is a humble guy, I got his book "JUKE BOX HERO my 5 decades in Rock n Roll," there's a full page of the lyrics to JUKE BOX HERO, many of us know Lou actually wrote most that song 🎵. Mick Jones +Tom Scholz = Narcissistic, greedy .

That's because idiots who run the RRHOF and Rolling Stone Magazine view Foreigner, Styx , Journey, Toto , Boston etc as Corporate ROCK which they hate , they don't view them as simply ROCK BANDS that's the problem. The Boston bomber got more respect being put on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine. Do the math. Yep, COMMUNISM

It amazes me that there are still people out there who believe the RRHOF actually means something, but here you go anyways.. "I think it's less about whether we're qualified and I think it might be more personal now," the singer told Sleeve Saturday. He continued, recalling that one day Jones and the band's longtime manager had a meeting with someone involved with the Rock Hall. The meeting "led to some heated words" and did not end well. "And as that discussion ended - I don't know who; it might have been Jann Wenner from Rolling Stone magazine, I think he told Mick and our manager that it'll be a cold day in hell before Foreigner gets in the Rock Hall Of Fame. That's the way it ended up. And sure enough, I bet you 20 years has gone by since that."... Lou Gramm EDIT: interview w/ Andrew Magnotta August 3rd 2022

@mule-elum Very true. In 1990, when Mick Jones talked Lous first replacement Johnny Edwards into joining Foreigner. Johnny's band had just signed on to Atlantic records with his band WILD HORSES 🐎 which was formerly BUSTER BROWN. Johnny was actually the lead singer of the band as they signed and turned Mick Jones DOWN at first . Jones being persistent/insistent went to meet Edwards in person but used a jet furnished by ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE and guess who came on that jet (with Jones) to convince Edwards to join Foreigner ? 👉 Jann Wenner. Edwards got screwed by Jones . In 1992, they completed 8 demos for a follow up to 1991s UNUSUAL HEAT. Edwards got Jones blessing and a day off to move into a new house that Edwards had been seeking for a while (he had a wife and child). Mick waited a week to finally call Edwards and tell him, "IM SORRY BUT WE'RE BRINGING LOU BACK TO THE BAND" leaving Edwards out of a job and stuck with a house he couldn't afford. Lou wasn't the only one screwed by Mick. If Mick was 20 years younger right now. He probably would've dumped Hansen for younger singer who could sing Foreigners song catalog without struggling because Hansen is 62 and has admitted its harder due to his age. The band Chicago has no hesitation replacing tenors look at how many they've replaced in the last 6 years. I think the "CORPORATE ROCK BAND" tag and Micks disrespect towards Lou Gramm is why Foreigner is not in the RRHOF. I personally don't care about RRHOF or what they do and I dont care if Foreigner gets in or not. Even Lou Gramm has said he doesn't waste time worrying or thinking about it. So, yep, you definitely have a point in calling people out on the subject.

Lou Gramm is either the finest example of Christian forgiveness or a really, really bad business man. Mick Jones should be on hands and knees, begging for forgiveness for the way he has shit on Lou in so many ways over so many years. Sadly, Lou has, strangely, been willing to remain his puppet. He appears whenever Mick decides to trot him out. Probably tosses him a decent payday. Bills to pay and all, I ‘d imagine. Lou subjects himself, at this point in his legacy, to standing beside and be JUDGED on his vocal performances based on the performance of a younger, healthier, “Imitation Lou”, singing Gramm’s OWN fu***ng vocal melodies in his self penned HIT songs. The biggest kick the ass that SHOULD be a dealbreaker for him to ever step on a stage again with Mick Jones, is to reclaim, retroactively, his rightful co-writing royalty earnings for his co penning of the multi zillion earning, “I wanna know what love is” who’s royalties ( 100% ) Mick Jones blatantly STOLE from him . This is unforgivable, even though Lou is now a devout Christian. Lou Gramm …… every time you stand on stage with Mick Jones and let him STILL be earning money from your talent while, at the same time, dumping on you and stealing from you …. Every time you do, you are debasing your own God given gifts. Kelly Hanson, a talented singer, would not have a voice, much less phrasing or melodies to copy if it weren’t for you, Lou Gramm.

Lou kind of loses credibility when he says Mick is a cheat but then he still hangs out with him

Definitely a business for sure. This interview was around 2018 when there was reunion tour so I'm sure it was when this network contacted their management to get them to come together for a interview.

Amazed Lou could sit through this, Mick stole everything from everyone and put his name on it as his. Total cheat.
