It gives me the impression that westerners were hoping to get 3rd world gutter type treatment in lndia ,simply because it has poverty,and not as developed as western countries. The west is highly developed, but still majority cannot afford the cost of treatment, because money is more important then human suffering. Indians culture puts humans above wealth, that is a difference between East and west.

if you know, medical tourism is a booming thing in India. You can travel, get diagnosed, get meds, travel back in less than the treatment amount of US treatment.

Note: Indore is a tier 2 city. Good to see Pvt healthcare infrastructure improving across India.

The guy was talking about Doctors having bad body odour.... As I live in India & overseas I never felt Doctors have bad odour wherever I consulted them in India or abroad. 😊😊. But yes maybe the doctors whom you consulted wanted to give you "bad smell"... Maybe you met with junior Dr's who constantly moving around the hospital to see patients & got sweating which causes bad odours.. 😊😊🎉

I am Odisha state of India. 90% of medicines we got free from Hospital. Government provide free health card which work in every single hospital, coverage about 6500 dollars and most of the tests report we got free from local hospital within few our 👍

I get health check up done every year. It is free and complusory for me as an employee of a public sector bank paid by the insurance company with which they have tied up. That is how I got to know that I have fatty liver.

The medical test being very cheap (affordable in Steve jobs words) is one of the primary reasons why many Indians think twice before relocating to other foreign countries. It's that good here! Infact health care in India is so affordable that there are govt hospitals that give free treatment to the poor. All these without any medical insurance. Imagine just consulting a dentist in the US without insurance. We have to sell our assets for that. India is also famous for medical tourism & earn billions from that. Foreigners come here every year just to get their big ailments treated which would have costed their whole fortune, if it had been in their home country. So, yes health care being affordable in India is really a boon for all Indians & other foreigners too. The only thing that's expensive in India is private school education while the US provides that for free lol. India does provide free education but it's not recommended for bright future. That's why private schools are a go-to thing in India. Since Indians give the utmost respect to education, here they'll even sell their assets to give their kids the best education. See the irony! The drops they put is called dialation. It helps clean your eyes and prevents clearing dead tissues and dirt. It does makes you go kind of blind for a while or super sensitive to light. But it done for most of the issues happening to our eyes. I had severe headaches took migraine medicine. But found to have something called fundus of eye.

A single test in UK would cost you more than the WHOLE package ! You are very unlikely to be offered as screening by the NHS.If you are on a holiday it is worth an executive package available in most medium size towns. Prevention is better than cure.

Well my impression about indian healthcare is even though it's such a crowded country it is much much much better than Canada's healthcare in every single means you can get treated in like 5 minutes you step in emergency whereas you need to wait for ages in Canada suppose if you are left alive during waiting time you might get treated in canada that too they give very light painkiller which isn't even effective Canadas healthcare is pathetic in every single way the bad side about india is that doctors do prescribe extra tests which isn't even necessary! Btw India has many complete health care check inside home services apps where the lab technician visits home literally as soon as the next day of booking and does 100+ tests with in 20 CAD. Overall experience Indian Healthcare > other countries healthcare if you are a middle class person.

That hospital is one of costliest hospital in India.

Indian Medical Treatment is generally great and affordable.The simple fact is in order to get into a medical college the students have to go through a very rigorous training and competition is with extraordinary large population. I don't think there is any surgical or non surgical advanced treatment option which is not available in India.

If you have money to buy good health insurance, or can afford to pay iut of pocket, Indian healthcare can be really good. If you ain't got money, then healthcare is horrible

They work a lot . They can be sweating . It does not mean they don’t take shower. Than foreigners Indian take bath daily . And many foreigners have fecal smell too. Even I felt with my teachers while I was abroad .

Bro your subscriber almost 2 years and Punjabi as same from your culture..Hospital has given you such great facilities in a cheap price if you went in Uk you will cost it almost 3-4 times more.. You can clearly tell the hospital about this personal hygiene..and as it looks hospital is 4.5 stars out of 5. 1. Indian Drs are excellent(except the crooks). 2. Very cheap 3. No need to wait ages for appointments 4. No big drama calling" blood works" etc. 5. Not so excellently clean hospitals, especially wash rooms 6, crowded. But overall India will be alternative to any country's healthcare

The NHS has been in decline for many decades because there are too many managers full of self-importance wearing high heels and waggling their tales for attention. Caring for vulnerable patients is not their priorities. Look at the state of GP's practice. Ah well if you don't join the queue and be patient with a number say "your are number 32" in the queue you can't get a laugh!. One gets so fed up listening to irrelevant information that before 32 become 1 you give up. This means you don't get an appointment and A&E becomes overloaded. Every time .on rare occasion when I visit the surgery it's almost empty of living beings. Perhaps the staff are in training. Never heard of so much training going on.I guess it's the state of Artificial Intelligence!

When my doctor's office takes blood I will ask for lunch. They gave you poha, that causes glucose spike. I learned that avoiding eating sugars that comes in all different forms is best for health and looks too, sugar ages cells, also cancer cells live on sugar.

With top checkups and continuous upgrading India is taking over Medical Tourism in a big way. If any patient finds something amiss, they must bring to the notice of Hospital authorities for it to improve.

Indian diet is best filled with veggies and lentils mostly if you cut that sweets and refined oil is enough and make sure not consume more than 200gms of rice a day and take hand pound rice is best (brown rice) and cut wheat and eat jowar roti that is a big problem in north India they eat lot of maida and wheat chole battura etc oily food.

Even when I was living in USA I used to take a trip to India for any dental procedure which was more than cleaning. Even something as basic as a root canal treatment was more than 50 times cost in the US. It was cheaper and faster to fly in get the procedure done and fly back and still have money to spare

It takes a lot of resources to train and equip medical professionals, and especially so for a low-income country. Hope India will preferentially take care of its less privileged citizens (who cannot go abroad for treatment) before taking care of tourists, especially for non-emergency chronic health conditions.

Yes we have excellent facilities which are provided by private hospitals When it comes to government hospitals treatment is affordable but the crowd is high And things like hygiene less said the better Blame it on people and the government So for those Indians going overboard sayimg westerners look down upon us etc because they are biased ,just take a break The prosperity of a country is measured not by the wealth of its rich but by whether the poor section have access to high quality medical care, public transport etc all at affordable rates and whether all those have minimum standards like hygiene etc
