@@zingwibrothers Pantuya is more better than Gulab Jamun. Bengali Rosogolla is different pattern, there are flavoured rosogolla as well, theres rosomalai as.
I think our other states people didn't try Rosogolla of Kolkata.I said that bcz many comments are like you can't break rosogolla.It's not at all hard it's so soft that you can break it easily and will melt in your mouth.

I like every indian sweet. But If i have to choose one then original rasgulla over gulab jamun. But finding that spongey and melting at once rosogulla isn't easy. Squeeze that sheera before putting in mouth.
Original ODIA Rasagolla can be broken. Not chewy at all. Soft chhenaa. You must try Nimpara Sweets Rasagolla when you come to ODISHA in the East Coast where Rasagolla was invented.
@@zingwibrothersit's originally from Odisha where it was served to Lord jagannath. Then during the British raj a lot of odia people immigrated to West Bengal where the bengali's modified the recipe and called it their own.
@@zingwibrothers It's originally from Odisha. It's been a part of the Jagannatha tradition of Lord Jagannatha feeding to Mahalaxmi. Bengalis frequent our Jagannatha temple. TWO THOUSAND years later they tried to make a copy. Theirs is close, very close but not an exact copy.

The white one is rasogulla and its pure protien and sugar. You can squeeze it tightly to get all sugar syrup out so that only 10% remains in and then eat it.
tip : squeeze the sugar syrup out as much as you'd like lol this is what i do with my gulab jamuns and rasgullas, i don't like too sweet either but once you squeeze out the excess syrup, you get the real taste
The place where you are enjoying Indian sweets is not an authentic Indian sweet shop, That white one you were unable to cut with your spoon was the proof that, you can copy but making soft (not spongy) Rasgulla/ Rosogolla is an art. Try this sweet in India at some specific places where they make it just the way so it melts in your mouth, you don't even have to chew/gulp , it goes down that easy my friend.

Ok I see lot of people are fighting over the origin of Roshogolla..Actually the Rasagolla the people in Odisha are talking about is Kheer Mohan..it is light brown in colour and soft..the Roshogolla was invented in Bengal which is White in colour and spongy..Kheer Mohan was invented lot before Roshogolla in Odisha..Both are different and extremely delicious...you should try both in the respective states..you should also try Ras malai...
Rasgulla is healthier than Gulab Jamun as it's only made of paneer and is boiled in water. And Better the rasgulla (white), less rubber like it is and more sponge like

rasgulla is very much healthier than gulabjamun, eat rasgullas after squeeze it a bit but ya gulabjamun is tastier one,I love them too,specially when u get a hot one
Actually rasogolla is better when it is made from fresh milk or the best quality of unripened curd cheese , the rosogolla that are found in rural areas of West Bengal tastes way better and the price is cheaper than the one from expensive restaurants . 😅 Moreover gulab jamun has much more calories than rosogolla
