Not they dont believe, but western dont like the fact that china os doing better than them. So they choose to be hypocrite and sprrading lies and propaganda to discredit china instead
i know this is not a political forum. however, as a canadian living next door to usa. sometimes i wonder if usa would be a much better nation if it spends more money rebuilding some of its old and dated structures like subways, airports, bridges, etc. don't waste trillions on foreign wars, but spend that money on rebuilding the nation. love from canada.
Unfortunately, your neighbor had become the terror of this world since it relied solely upon the military-industrial complex as a profitable source of income. No way will it turn the attention to prosper its people since rebuilding infrastructure has no profit/less profit. It doesn't matter who is in charge (neo-con/lib).
But the US politicians are in the pockets of the MIC so you can see most of the budget diverted to military hardware and warmongering all around the world to sell their military products. Called itself a bastion of democracy but is actually a war criminal.
I would love to see the US rebuild and use the people's money properly. It takes billions in taxes and doesn't reinvest it into the infrastructure. If it built the country, it could provide jobs and better education.... But I don't think anything will really change, which is sad.
Great video. You should add Beidou was born out of necessity. In 1990s, US used / blocked GPS to disable a Chinese ship in an incident. And China joined Europe’s Galileo program but was blocked repeatedly. Beidou was born after China realized Europe’s true intension (and wasted time and money on Galileo.
Yes, just like the aircraft carrier and the space station and semiconductors and on and on and on.... Seems every time China is blocked, they just build it themselves.
I share stuff from Beijing, China all the time and people just don't believe me. It is sad but I get it, so much propaganda to fight against. Keep sharing, I love your work. Best, Iain.
I don't really like China government because of their attitude and ideology. But I have to admit that their government is the most impressive government to try a lot of impressive projects for the public good.
It's crazy to think how a single move by the US to reject China's application into the ISS motivated the latter to work on their own and resulted to an unprecedented success of producing their own space station. China could have given up their dream and goal of space exploration after that failure. Yet, they turned it into a great motivation to work on their full potential. They truly are people's great inspiration. I don't know what the US will do in decades to come. Will they approach China and ask for apology, and make a request to be admitted in China's space station? I don't know. Only time can tell.
NASA is already requesting moon soil samples from China before working with their politicians to remove the US laws that prevent that kind of cooperation. This is a culture shock to me.
You ask an ostrich who has its head in the sand, "do you see that beautiful thing there?" The ostrich will certainly say, "there ain't nothing there. It's fake."
China is planning to build a lunar base. Americans want to be one step ahead, but American rockets have failed many times. China has launched the most rockets in recent years and has the highest success rate.
Yes, NASA has been have problems with their rockets, which is interesting because they went to the moon in the 60's. But their new heavy rockets haven't been operating well.
Halarious 😆 🤣 America want to be one step ahead? America is 60 years ahead. Even Russia and India are one step ahead of China. Russia were landing probes on Venus in the 1970s, whilst the Chinese were still living in trees. There are no prizes for 5th place.
What you failed to make clear is that the electromagnetic catapult system on the Fujian, the medium-voltage direct-current electromagnetic launch system is already a full generation more advanced than the U.S. one on the Ford which uses an alternating current system that also breaks down and needing major repairs after every 400 uses on average, which is why the U.S. one is still problematic and not operational after many years, while the Chinese one has not broken down even after 150,000 uses. By comparison, the 2nd-generation electromagnetic catapult system that is only starting to be developed by the U.S., a medium-voltage direct-current one that is comparable to the current Chinese one on the Fujian, is still at least 10 years away from completion of development.
Yes, this was more an overview of a lot of projects. Each project probably needs its own video to really explain how important or impactful it really is.
Simple physics- nuclear fuel have greater energy density than other fuel. A nuclear powered Ford class carrier outclassed a steam turbine powered Fujian carrier in all capabilities, catapult system inclusive. Even asian military analyst attested that Fujian is not fully operational and years behind US nuclear powered carrier. The nuclear power system of US Ford class carrier provides more than enough energy to feed the energy guzzling weapons, infrastructure such as electromagnetic catapult and possible future technology upgrade on the carrier. Now tell me how an underpowered steam turbine Fujian carrier with power not even sufficient for propulsion would be able to power the carrier's electromagnetic catapult system 150,000 times without getting overwhelmed, let alone power other weapons and infrastructure while operating thousands of kilometres off Chinese shores for months? Anyways, good luck with your whataboutism.

According to new research, the rise is largely courtesy of China and India. For much of reforestation is thanks to 2 countries: ...
@Johnson Li Not just emission rate, but also consider the cumulative carbon emission. The US and Europe far outstrip the level of historical emission of carbon than China or other parts of the world.
Did you guys even read my comment? I wasn't even talking about carbon emission. This guy said China's reforestation is controversial, environmental concern, etc, but this is exactly what NASA thanked China for. What a "controversy".
The controversy is about the types of trees they have planted and how they are planted. Of course, their will be people that praise it and some that will claim it is hurting the environment... I was just pointing out that here are some critics, because it makes the video more balanced and lets watchers know, I am aware of the criticisms.
@@TripBitten Who were critics? And how did the choice of trees and the way they were planted caused the controversy? And what was the environmental impact? Is there anything the Chinese government do that does NOT draw criticism from the US and its allies? Like donating medical supplies and vaccines to the developing nations? Nope, that was bad and evil.
China always got tons of ideas from American Si-Fi movie, and try hard to make it real, someone laughed about it, someone fear of it, and someone just wait for it.
I will check out your other video, I am well aware of all the projects that you listed, there is one that should also be noted that China discovered that if you grow trees in artificial light directly over head the the trees grow faster and straighter and produce stronger trees for replanting. Nice presentation.
I heard that China is also building a solar power plant in space by 2028. They will collect energy from the sun and beam it down back to Earth. I don't know how true this is, but it's something that got me excited about.
Excellent achievements for China and Asia. We are proud of China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Australia, and India.
Two points of correction: 1. China is not blocking the USA from participation in the space station, the US Government Wolff Amendment prohibits NASA from any cooperation with China, that law has to be changed to remove the roadblocks. 2. China is a member of ITER, and as such, is obligated (and does) share Fusion Research with other ITER members; thus no major country has the opportunity to monopolize Fusion as you suggest.

While not a physical build.... the 'system' built in place to address poverty alleviation is impressive. Maybe one day you'll take on the task of explaining it with video footage, diagrams, etc. ? p.s. Great video and I will be sharing it! 💡
That is a massive social engineering project and would be hard to explain, but maybe one day, I will try to tackle it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
It's easy to explain. China lowered it's way of calculating poverty so that it included less people. Take at look at China's countryside communities. That's were the poverty is. Everything out of China is a lie.
China uses the system of richer cities and regions "adopting" poorer town and regions to help them get out of relative and absolute poverty. So Britain tried to lift up its northern poorer regions with its "levelling up" strategy but had to throw in the towel. The HS2 "high speed" (actually mid speed) railway which was supposed to link the richer south to the north is all but abandoned. Instead, most middle class Brits have been made poorer by the policies of the 3 short-lived successive Tory administrations. This present one is set to made them even poorer.
P.S. On the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, some separatists in Balochistan keeps targeting Chinese engineers. No prizes for guessing who keeps egging these guys on...
I just subscribe to you channel because I like the way you discuss what projects that China has completed or is still undergoing, by listing it into points. Each of these projects can be a topic of discussion, and each is really unbelievable accomplishment. This is the first time I heard that China is building hyperloop! To accomplish all of these is just Wow! It will be interesting to discuss China's advancement in chips and airplane manufacturing in the future. Also I heard about China's breakthrough ability to process nuclear waste. No country, even the US has the ability to handle nuclear waste. But this is still not confirmed. A lot of achievement, really astounding to achieve within just short period!
I will have to look into the projects you mentioned. I'm not sure about the nuclear waste, but sounds interesting. I'm thinking of doing a video about chips, but that is a deep topic and requires a lot of research, so it is going slow for now.
@@TripBitten To talk about China's success on chip manufacturing I think is still premature. About nuclear waste, I heard somebody talked about it. One sign that China is capable of handling nuclear waste, probably... China has raised objection to Japan dumping of radioactive water into the Pacific ocean. China's advancement into military hardware, that too, can be discussed on separate topic. There are many progress within relative short period, but I am interested on China's floods and pollution resolve.
@@TripBitten See if you can research into China's nuclear power plant using Thorium instead of Uranium. Thorium is much safer as there is no possibility of meltdown.
The greening of deserts is understandably a generation-long and extremely arduous endeavor. The sad part is that tree sapling planted has a survival rate of less than 10% and needs a vast irrigation system to keep them alive until they take root. Fortunately, China has invented a simple and cheap yet very effective technique to help the trees to become well-established. This patented new method has a sapling survival rate of over 90%.
Why? The ISS is old and coming to the end of its life, with the US/ Russian war been fought in Ukraine and Russia talking about stopping /closing down its cooperation with the west
I thought China's advances in AI were pretty amazing because you now have driverless taxis and buses that are deployed in some cities. Autonomous vehicles are something that I have personal experience with partly because I was a participant of the 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge where I worked with my classmates to make Alice drive herself from California to Nevada (ostensibly from Los Angeles to Las Vegas).
I was in the AI cars in Shenzhen and it was really cool to experience. Interesting to hear about your personal story with autonomous vehicles. DARPA has been funding a lot of AI tech.
@@yewhocktan5112 Yup, that's why the US is trying to kill China's semiconductor industry by banning any and all development cooperation and sales of "American" chips to China... except that China is the biggest supplier of the base materials to make these same American chips. The whole EUV lithography process, while stupidly impressive in its complexity, seems to be heading into an evolutionary dead end because photonic chips and semiconductors are now totally feasible and are much cheaper and easier to produce. Also, most of the patents related to photonic chips are either made by Chinese or owned by Chinese firms. The whole point about going to 5G and 6G is to digitize most aspects of your life so your smartphone becomes the secure terminal with which to access your finances, your social contacts, and your online shopping. There is a distinctive difference between the China and US Electromagnetic Aircraft catapult system design; the Chinese utilizes DC current and the US AC current; The Chinese claim that the DC configuration is more reliable than the AC system; this of course will need to be verified when their carrier is in full operation. The US system has already experienced reliability problem in their Ford carrier!

What do China critics want when they say China's desert greening projects will have an environmental impact? Is this not for the better and achieving the objectives of what many westerners are craving for?
Maybe I have suggested this idea before…do a series on general stuff. Show them things that are easy to Google and believe. 8500 KFC, 6000 Starbucks, expensive American ice creams in the supermarkets, Tiffany’s, Victoria’s secret’s, Tesla, Chinese buy 3.5 times more Audi than Americans, 3 times more Mercedes, more Porsche, Chinese firms own Volvo, Range Rover, Bentley, the unrecognisable makes of new EVs, yet Chinese 820,000 Buick in 2021, unbelievable. I believe Chinese students are the largest foreign student groups in every top university not only in the US but the world. I Google every Ivy League website last year to confirm that. That must also true in every developed countries. Hezhimeng did a Huawei video featuring returning students from all over the world doing orientation and training. That was impressive.

I especially like the hyperloop train systems. Eventually they will be all over the world except for in the U.S. since they put all of their resources into war and don’t even have universal health care.
Actually that is one project of doubtful basis. If you have even just basic understanding of science and engineering, you will understand how impractical it is, with current tech, to maintain even just a low level vacuum, along a stretch of even just 10 to 20 km. And the damage a single puncture can do to an entire line of low vacuum tube and whatever is in it. And that is just two of the myriad of problems associated with it. 2035? Make it another half century at least, and huge technological leap, for it to be even practical. And we are not even talking about economic feasibility here.
