i didnt agree with judge boys not having cameras in the court but i think out of respect and for the dignity of those beautiful children he did the right thing so that those horrific pics werent all over the internet
The judge could have allowed cameras . The photos of the victims (Tylee, JJ) didn’t have to be shown to the world just the jury. Lori should have had to face the world, but she probably would have loved to be on camera.

I've been dreaming about this case...it is creeping into my psyche and I believe I'm picking up on the fact that these crimes were planned by Lori, Alex and Chad for quite a while. I'm a mother..I just can't imagine letting religion take control of my life to the point it told me to kill my children and then they would be saved from demons, and, I could be free to lead a demonless life.

Chad hated the kids too he enjoyed eliminating them. He came up with some bull shyt that they had turned to zombies! He. Also wanted his wife dead so he could be with Lori so Tammy turns to a zombie. Its all utter bullshyt so they could be together!
She orchestrated it all, she gave JJ to Alex, to depose of. She clearly told her sister, she moved on to find her own happiness. She was DONE with being a "mom" Chad, Money and Hawaii, was all she cared about.

As a mom, i would be crying, hyperventilating, throwing up, and passing out if i heard that this happened to my children. There are some seriously evil people in this world. They dont belong here, how i wish that state had the death penalty.
The state has the death penalty. The prosecution screwed up discovery of some crucial evidence which allowed the defense to get the death penalty taken off the table. But I feel this is God’s, the universe’s, whatever you believe, I have no judgement, way of taking care of her more efficiently. The public isn’t told the truth about death row. People on death row get special treatment. They get personal TVs, radios, even special diets because (if you can believe this bs), “they’re under great stress knowing their life is ending and we do what we can to keep them at ease.” There’s actually prisoners who murder other prisoners & guards while in prison just to get on death row for the better living conditions! This special treatment lasts for 20-40 years, with continuous clemency hearings that the family has to re-live over & over, with some death row inmates getting clemency, which then leads to parole, which this woman should NEVER get. When I learned this, I was appalled. Life without parole means the family gets to throw her in that hole & never think about her again. They never have to re-live this nightmare through continuous probation or clemency hearings. Their healing can actually begin. Not to mention, she’ll either be in gen pop, surrounded by women who would give their right arm to be with their kids, who will HATE her for what she’s done to those precious children so, she won’t be making friends. She’ll either wind up in protective custody (which is isolation, something a reptile like her deserves), or she’ll constantly be getting into fights which will land her in isolation, or, most likely, she’ll be shived in the yard by another inmate serving her prison justice, just like it happened with Jeffery Dhamer. She’s way more likely to get an actual death penalty carried out on her much more quickly in gen pop. Honestly, this is THE BEST outcome for someone like her. She’s gonna have to live the rest of her life with her head on a swivel, waiting for the inmate shoe of justice to drop on her head, for as long as she lives on the inside. Personally, I feel this is the punishment she truly deserves & it protects the families from ever having to acknowledge her again.

I lost my 19 month old son Liam to Leukemia. My (at the time 5 year old) daughter gave donated her bone marrow trying to save him. I cannot imagine parent or any other adult purposely harming their child or any child. As adults we are supposed to protect children whether they are our children or not. What disgusting humans. I hope they get the death penalty if it is allowed in the state they are on trial in.

I’ve seen this forensics professor interviewed in many different programs, but this is the first time he’s gotten emotional that I’ve noticed. Even the most experienced scientists are stuff affected by the horrific nature of this case.

There was absolutely no reason for JJ to be murdered, he could never have told on what shenanigans Lori and her gang had going on around him and he couldn’t have understood what he might be seeing anyway. The only possible reason for JJ’s suffering and murder was that Lori hates Kay over the insurance money. JJ was receiving a monthly governmental check. Chad & Lori continued to accept that check the entire time the children were missing. JJ was killed because, if he was dead, they wouldn’t have to spend any of JJ’s check on JJ. Chad could have every cent. I think the money should have been taken from Chad’s kids, seeing as how it was stolen funds in the first place. This is the charge of grand theft she was also found guilty of. She got 10 additional consecutive years & she’s having to make restitution of around $3800 in total.

It's heartbreaking what happened to these precious children. I have an autistic 5 year old son, and he is my angel. No one would ever dare lay a finger on my baby. I couldn't imagine what jj went through. Lori is 100% responsible for both deaths, in my opinion. She had this grandiose fantasy about her being special and everyone who got in the way being dark. The darkness was in her, not them.

Even on the stand, the experts spoke more on JJ when discussing his remains because they had more information. Second, a special needs toddler will always have more coverage/ attention over an able-bodied teenager, even if their siblings are. I keep remembering that Tylee was a witness to her stepfather Charles’ killing at the hands of Alex and she later gave testimony to the police, blaming Charles and justifying the shooting. She stood by Alex and her mother because she loved them. She could not have known the grave danger she was in and that she would soon lose her life too. Poor JJ was completely innocent and unaware.

I really wish the specialist shouted louder when he expressed that JJ struggled anti-mortem to make it crystal clear that whether drugged or not, it “appears” evident that JJ did indeed struggle. Unfortunately we dint even know what happened to Tylee. We always thought she had been shot but now we dint even know if she too, suffered before her gruesome dismemberment and being set on fire. 😞 Sickening stuff.
Unfortunately, seemingly ‘good’ people can be monsters. The phrase “don’t judge a book by its cover” has mostly been associated with the idea that people that may seem rough around the edges, grumpy, and just different from people within our range of normal etc can actually be completely different than what we would think…… I think we need to start grasping the alternate version of this concept. Some of the best people hide the worst things.
Just look at the differences between the disposal of the two bodies: JJ was kept intact, and his favourite blue blanket was with him. In Mormonism, those with disabilities were thought to be warriors who personally escorted Lucifer out of Heaven. While his death was horrific, his burial was more 'personal,' i.e., treated with more respect. Tylee was utterly destroyed. She was separated into pieces, burned beyond recognition. Her disposal was in a pet cemetery, next to animals. Her body was clearly treated with far more cruelty and, in my opinion, much more effort to destroy evidence that could have been detected in her tissues.
