This section of forest was burned in mid August 2019 as part of the effort to restore habitat for Kirtland's Warbler in the Jack Pine Forest between Mio and Rose City Michigan. www.fs.usda.go... www.michigan.g...
Thanks! This section of forest was mostly ground cover with sparse trees. They were burning for the Jack Pine's. They need heat to reproduce, it's part of the habitat restoration for the endangered Kirtland's Warbler. I have some footage of this section (granted riding much faster) before the burn. I hope to do a before/after video within the next week or so..whenever I can find the time.
RaptorGang It was pretty wild. I think I have some footage of riding through there earlier in the year. If I can find the same section of trial I’ll have to do a before/after.
Deep Woods Sittin that would be even cooler to see a before and after type video. I think it’s pretty cool seeing the forest after a burn and how open it is
