Vlog riding new natural enduro mtb trails at AE Forest (south Scotland) that were mostly built post felling. POV from different trails throughout the vid. There's so much more to AE than the trail centre red and downhill tracks. Graded on Trailforks as black trails these are typical natural trails that in this case require the ability to ride moderate steeps, loam, loose berms and at times slidey roots... mtb trails that have everything to throw at you! There's nothing mad but they are techy especially if it's wet!
It's been good getting back on the full sus enduro bike again after it being out of action for a couple of weeks. Suspension feels so plush now and this was an ideal place to ride it! Located near Dumfries in Southern Scotland, there are other trail centre spots nearby too - Kirroughtree and Mabie, being two to mention. Mabie has some natural trails too although we've yet to go!
Post (or pre) ride there is a brilliant cafe. Who doesn't love a mountain bike destination with an awesome coffee shop for coffee and cake... or cheeseburgers!! Prices are amazing and it's super friendly. Ideal place for a roadtrip with everything in one place.
Hope you enjoy the vlog and it gives you an idea of the natural mountain bike trails at AE Forest.
