MTB vlog covering trail riding, enduro racing and bikepacking adventures predominantly in Scotland but with coverage across the UK and Europe. Videos contain 4K Go Pro footage from our two perspectives with occasional reviews on components and gear. We keep it fun and have a laugh - that's why we ride! Our aim with the channel is to inspire riding and good times on the bike whichever way that is for you - through racing, having a good time with mates or exploring new places. For us it's all of these things! Stay tuned and subscribe for regular uploads (usually on a Sunday or Monday!)

Thanks for sharing - really good to confirm that the trails at the top aren't crazily steep. I wasn't sure whether it was the famous GoPro flattening that made the trails look a bit less hairy. I stay abroad now but really want to get to these trails and Yair in the Tweed Valley when I'm back in Scotland sometime. So much to biking to choose from there!
Skillfully navigated through the tech of Thornielee, always good to see the different trails you can ride here, these trails seemed to have became more popular recently, thanks for sharing!
Hey there, great vid on Thornielee. I very recently watched your last one when you were there in the snow! Also visited this myself about 2 weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed the place. I first saw your vids of this place 3 years ago, and it's taken me this long to work up the skill and courage do to them!
Is the guy Welsh, Zimbabwean or Russian? I'm usually pretty good with guessing accents, but this one keeps changing continents. That looked really tricky btw.
Zimbabwean is definitely a new one from guesses over the years 😂. It’s Czech Republic neutralised a bit with living in Scotland for so long. Yeah was a tough descent this one!
Impressivley skilled riding whilst out bikepacking especially short travel on steep trails, was in Ballater last year yet to check out Aboyne. Great adventure and mix of trail types thanks for sharing! 😁
It was good to see a lot of my old haunts as I grew up in Tarland fifty plus years ago and as a boy cycled all over on my road bike from Aberdeen to Balmoral with a couple of friends but have always hankered to get out into the wilderness on a bike and explore some of the tracks I see travelling back to Deeside from the Central Belt that meander into the hills. I now have the perfect tool my eMTB but age is not on my side but not done yet I hope. I never really remember the Midge growing up that was until I moved to Kintyre and then on to The Isle of Lewis where they are bred differently so I felt your pain with the bites as they always seem to go for my mouth also and anywhere else that is exposed.
Lovely place to grow up. Thanks for sharing! Hopefully with the eMTB you can explore some of those routes! I'll definitely be doing some more up that way. Spectacular riding and views to match. Haha I can imagine the midgies are brutal there - they do say the west is on another level for them!
Such an amazing place and awesome video! my 11 year old calls it home and is delighted to have just nailed big line! ru-vid.comwHWhq77SEXc?si=NPvrF2Fs58_vldZC
Brilliant vid, stunning scenery. I like yer style - camping to do the Devil's Staircase first thing👏Did this about 20 years ago and wished I'd stopped at The Green Welly. Loch Lomond bit still looks hellish. Is your bike for these trips different from your enduro one? With bikepacking stuff it can feel really weird getting the balance right on techy bits. Looking forward to your Deeside Trail vid.
Thanks! Yeah that worked so well to have a nice quiet descent! Green welly is good but I would not recommend the porridge 🤣. Yep I use a short travel 100mm xc bike so it’s about 11kg without the kit on it and pedals well. Great to hear, almost finished editing that one!
I cycled that route 6 years ago, did it over 3 days. That first day traversing loch lomond was awful hahaha. That bit in the vid brought back some nightmares xD
I biked it solo 3 years ago, i did Conich and the low route up Loch Lomond. Day 1 from Milngavie to Beinglass. Its been said before but nothing, no amount of research or talking to folk prepares you for that section. Another great video 🎉
Haha! We had to go to bed early the next night after the ouzo the night before so missed the football 😂 we will be in the Barbados taverna tonight if you are there :)
