It´s interesting how the beginning sounds so bright compared to the original track, your take has a very serene vibe overall. Nice job as always!

In the original, the first notes of the melody are D-Bb-G, which outlines a G minor chord sounding sad. The bass note is Eb; this is only a half step away from D. Playing the D and Eb at the same time causes a dissonance and uneasy feeling. In this piano version, the melody is Eb-Bb-G, which outlines a Eb major chord sounding happy. Note that the piano version also has a Eb in the bass, but this time, the melody and bass are BOTH Eb, making it sound more harmonious. You could say the original represents the Decay route and the piano version represents the Burial route.

I have not yet heard this one. I have only seen episode 1… I keep waiting for Eddie vr to play episode 2. Still love the music of TCOAAL tho. Must be one of the better games I have seen in a while
