I feel like I should've maybe spent more time with because the transitions aren't the best in the world and there's alot of techinical issues that were going on, like my compressors not working because the sax shouldn't have been THAT loud, you know?! no problem! I'm here to help. also something I've noticed as well, the drums are also very very repetitive and very simple. I would make the drums more complex in general overall, and maybe also add more bass to the kick drums. Also maybe do the fast spinning open high hats at some parts as well. also what I would do is maybe add a nice bass line at least in the hook. to me this beat is very good, but it just doesn't sound like it's finished. It just sounds too simple and like half complete at this stage. I will work on doing those things. I would also make the hook stand out, something I would do is maybe add that chorus effect to all the hooks(may be on the 2nd half of the hook) as well as the saxophone. Then work on the drums to make them less simple and repetitive, and also add a nice baseline. Then add the electric guitar, and maybe put a low pass filter on the hook and make it build up. Then maybe for the second half of the hook dont put the low pass filter on it or something(just experiment with it). Then it would be good to go for the hook. this beat is on the right track, and has a lot of potential! It just doesn't sound completely finished! I can see this beat being a nice Club radio hit if done correctly, and the drums are done correctly and everything. I can see this being your style, mixed with DJ Mustard style(drum wise) at the end of the day
