Utopia having this Queen vibe is exactly the brief they gave to Valensia Clarkson when they contracted him for this collaboration!! It is no secret at all but a full intention. The lyrics are theirs largely with Valensia included in lyric credits too. His composition is just brilliant and shows his deep homage to Queen . This music video is one of those that is best watched several times and in the correct order as this is the 2nd in a trilogy…Save Our Lives is the 1st instalment with chapters 1 to 3 and the 3rd is yet to be released. All part of a larger story they’re telling.

Best quartet in the world right now. Can’t wait for Ko Woorim to return from military service in 2025. Meanwhile they have performed hundreds of songs that fan’s can enjoy and react to that include covers and originals . All of them exceptional and unique.

This song is part 2 of a trilogy. Hence the division in acts 3 to 6, like in a theatrical play or opera. The first three parts made the song „Save our lives“ and yes, the overall theme is how we as mankind destroy our beautiful planet, trying to bring perfection to something that already is built perfect… I liked your flabbergasted look 😆 Sorry, but I’m not sorry at all for that 😆 Forestella shine in every genre. They released a Tim Burton-eske song „Snow globe“, and even managed to bring out the heavy guitar in there… „Like someone in a legend“ gives an impression on how they would sound on a Disney movie… They can do Arabian style „Spread silk on my heart“, or hard rock „Lacenca, save us“, or emotional „Je suis malade“… And even K-pop „Kool“… Yes, they did 😆 They suit every taste, but most importantly: they always deliver a spectacular show and harmonies to die for 🥰

forestella tends not to explain so much as put it out there and leave it open to interpretation, but i think you have a pretty solid grip on what they were going for!

Utopia is the idealized form of life in which we euphorically accept everything without considering the consequences. Ultimately, we are already in a dyspopia, which is depicted very vividly here in an exaggerated form. "Utopia is part II of a planned trilogy (Part I is "Save Our Lives") . Both audiovisual masterpieces, coordinated down to the smallest detail and completely different genres. Both, the best I've seen and heard in a long time. I also strongly recommend their latest m/v "Snow-Globe" is also a MUST, which will delight you.

This song has a feel of Sparks song "This Town ain't big enough for the both of this", and Queen, Muse and Electric Light Orchestra. Some of the great bands from 1960s, 1970s, 1980s. Love that Forestella have the ability to pull off such epic music. Love Kang Hyung-Ho's voice on this. And then, I also love Cho Mingyu, Bae Doo-Hoon and Ko WooRim too.

Thank you for your interesting review! This is the 2nd part of their trilogy. You can see act 4~6 here. The 1st part was their Save our lives and you can find act 1~3 there. The theme of the song was like Utopia for human beings might be dystopia for nature. And we need to find a way to co-exist because human beings are also a part of the nature. In the end of Save our lives- their original song as well, previous of Utopia, you can see the World Tree was growing up. That concept of world tree of life is from Nordic myth's Yggdrasill so their concept and story is also a crossover of the biblical metaphors and nordic mythical symbols.. and they took the 4 elements idea of Aristotle in the Save our lives like each of Forestella is representing an element like the Fire, the Water, the Air and the Earth. Interestingly, their vocal ranges fit the elements for each too. We can just guess and imagine stories, I think we can get everything clearer when the 3rd part is released. The composer is a Dutch named Valensia who lives in Valéncia in Spain. Forestella requested him to make an operatic part like Bohemian Rhapsody as Valensia was so strongly influenced by Queen, like to have made Queen tribute album himself. Actually his first demo version of Utopia was named Valéncia, like Barcelona by Freddie Mercury and Monserrat Caballé, a hymn for Valencia. But Forestella changed the lyrics to suit their World Tree and Utopia concept. It's interesting that still we can find some names of local spots in Valéncia, lol. They had more than 17K takes and used more than 400 tracks for this one song. It took more than 2 months of recording as far as they said. As always they sound better in live, so check out their live performance in Mnet too! This song is really addictive and became an earworm in my head like constantly.

Мы потеряли много видов животных, в океанах и морях содержится пластик. Актуальная тема и Форестелла напоминает об ответственности человека за его дела.❤
