This is a lot better and more involved than my theory as a kid that I had. In my head, the Beetle Borg were just designs copied for the sake of getting something that was machine like, but also enough like power rangers to potentially defeat the real power rangers. I didn't even remember the Beetle Borg lore at the time.
I honestly had to go back and rewatch all of beetleborgs when it was still on Netflix. #getittogethernetflix I know these shows weren't intended to be connected, but when they leave characters (especially villains) on a cliff hanger it would only make sense that they had to do something. @@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 While putting Justin in the story would be interesting, the comic crossover kind of creates problems until far later in the timeline. The entire thing with the comic is that the Beetleborgs and Power Rangers are from different dimensions (There are Power Rangers Comics in the Beetleborgs universe, and the comic references the Beetleborgs comics in both realities). The majority of the comic also, if I remember right, takes place in a third dimension between them... Personally, I could see the information about the Beetleborgs coming from a combo of Divatox's information from the crossover, and what the UAE scavenged from the wrecked command center that might have had even more data due to the scans taken and the temporary uplink to the Beetle Battle Base to allow the zords to interconnect with the Beetleborg equipment, perhaps giving even more data there.
My guess for the beetleborgs costumes being in forever red, is that, only the old fans of the 90's would recognize them, but current kids at the time of forever reds release would see them as machine monsters, they wouldnt know what beetleborgs were, since there only run was in the 90's.
Pretty sure it was just a budget choice. They had them available. And paying all the actors to return was going to cost a lot already. So the suits looked good and figured no one would really notice or care.
That would've been a sick story if they have put Justin into Beetleborgs once the Power Rangers went into space. I wished that would've happened in 1998.

Love this theory! Imagine how much more could have been done in just the MMPR to Forever red time period alone. Crossovers and video games are where I think the Power Rangers universe missed their mark the most.
I feel like venjix from RPM is general venjix cause a lot of venjix forms have small details based on the machine empire leaders, his first form has light bulbs on his head like prince sprocket , and his second form looks like king mondo's second form, and the head design of venjix's first form kinda resembles queen machina, idk if its true or not this is just my thoughts on it

I agree with that. Alphabet Soup could have been a shadow group of Brainwashed Venjix servants. They manage to upload a damage memory bank of Venjix and use K to reconfigure Venjix into a virus.

They wanted a flying motorcycle to destroy Serpent Terror? That is the only thing I hated in the episode. I never thought there was a real reason for the Beetleborg's suits being there. Just assumed they were Machine Empire Generals who resembled them. Now not seeing the theory yet, but maybe the in universe Beetleborg's comic saw the Generals before and based the comic on them.

I just realized that the Shadow Borg is named General Venjix and a Vengix is the name of the computer virus from RPM and Beast Morphers.... Likely different characters but it makes you wonder
I wish there was a great way to tie those together but there isnt anything close. He was destroyed on the moon in serpentera, so its just hard to link him to RPM. But it is weird they used that name again
actually I think general Venjix was collected sometime after wildforce, his software probably survived on some level and was accidently reborn into the big bad of RPM, or atleast a copy was made using his remains.

Though not as hard as my theory, and probably common theory, of the fact that most of the lightspeed organization and likely terra venturewas founded reverse engineering the remains of the turbo zords and the zeo power chamber. I believe the zeo power chamber still techically existed as that's likely where they went when they had that ceremony. Only the alphas, Zordon and the zeo/mmpr team members would have known about that chamber. I also believe that chamber survived the explosion since well the last explosion was SO much worse in mmpr than in turbo, they were chasing the villians which is why they didnt get to find out about the zeo power chamber.
@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 Actually, it would be easy to explain as part of the construction on the moon starting after In Space, and probably something with a massive expansion following Lost Galaxy due to the presence of the portal to Mirinoi there where the security teams were training. Scavenging and researching the facilities of Rita, Zedd, the Machine Empire, and even the wrecked defensive fortifications that Zordon left up there that Psycho Green trashed. The station that the villains of Forever Red could either be one of the remaining facilities from one of the villains or taking over one of the new ones...either way, the security teams would, likely, investigate the site of the battle and, perhaps, even trying to find the wreckage of Serpentera wherever they fell. Unfortunately, after Lightspeed Rescue and Time Force, there isn't as much research into such things mentioned on the civilian side there. It would also explain how Psycho Green got free in the end there with digging through the various things on the power rangers moon.

Yes they were! Ive seen some beetleborgs reviews on youtube and they bash the monsters, which makes it obvious they never watched the show. Its really funny and well done. Their parts of the show were literally a sitcom. It was good.
In your opinion. In mine, they’re some of the best parts. They crack me up. Also kinda piss me off cause of how selfish they are/were I think they’re evil villains themselves besides being allies. Still some of my fav characters in the show. Only one that isn’t evil is Flabber. He’s awesome and freaking hilarious. Reminds me of Jay Leno and also Elvis. And he reminds me of Genie from 90’s Aladdin. And a clown. Btw, imagine if the monsters met Bulk and Skull from Power Rangers? XDD And Justin from PR Turbo? People hate on Blake Foster wayyyyy to much. He was a great child actor, and did the part well even if people didnt like Justin. But I will put that clip in as many times as I can! Because he is a BA, and deserves to be respected for that.

Although, Lloyd's character in Jingle all the way got on my nerves. I never really had a problem with Blake Foster, it was his character Justin I didn't like. Which is why I think Justin is one of the worst blue rangers and one of the worst Power Rangers of all time
I wish Justin’s story was continued in In Space. Btw, I personally love the Magnavores. They’re fun. And Noxic is one of my favorites. I love them as much as I love the other villains.
They aren't bad, I think the second season the new villians were a bit more "scary" for a kids show. But I love Beetleborgs in general. Definitely deserves more love. I wish Justin got more closure. A fun character for sure!

Same thing with VR Trooper and Mystic Knight. In Japan, VR Troopers and Beetleborgs are part of the same series (the Metal Hero series), this explains why Beetleborgs begin when VR Troopers end as the Metal Hero series in Japan doesn't focus on the same team every season. Saban; however, manage to adapt two different seasons of Metal Hero for VR Troopers, and two more different seasons for Beetleborgs. When the old team got new suits and powers, those new suits and powers came from the newer season of Metal Hero adapted after the first. Beetleborgs itself could easily be adapted as VR Troopers season 3 & 4 had they not gone with the new cast.
Heres my fan theory. Justin's new home Is Charterville. His dad ends up being the head of whatever there. During the timeline of Power Rangers In Space after him and the Space Rangers rescued Storm Blaster and Lightning Cruiser his turbo powers became permanent and join up with the Beetleborg team and Storm Blaster and Lightning Cruiser became an arsenal for them. During the Countdown of Destruction Him and the Beetleborgs are fending of the Invasion at their location.
In season 3 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers there is a cross over with Masked Rider. The Rangers are sent to Edenoi which is where Alpha 5 was created by Dex’s grandfather King Lexian. It has also been mentioned that Lord Zedd had a rivalry with Masked Rider main villain Count Dregon. One would get the impression that Saban was trying to create a shared universe and this theory adds more credence to that idea.
You're also looking back on this with hindsight. You're not dealing with any legal obligations, having to balance so many people's schedules, dealing with child actors and the child labor laws that comes with. You're not actually in the situation the show makers were in at the time. But my main guess for why they did not do a live action crossover is Saban is cheap and did not want to pay Toei for more batches of all new Zyuranger 2 type footage for both the crossover and to keep Beetleborgs going. Since, from what I understand, after B-Fighter Kabuto Metal Heroes only had two more series, B-Robo Kabutack and Tetsuwan Tantei Robotack, and those went for a much younger audience, just look up their suit designs if you don't believe me. So I imagine that would have made what stock footage they would have had for a couple more years much more difficult to use without also switching out Beetleborg's target audience for a much younger one, which is a risk Saban probably would not have wanted to spend money on. Also the bug/beetle motif only stayed around for one more show, after that they'd have to change the name to something else entirely, again more risk and more money. It probably was the better financial decision to just drop Beetleborgs and either focus on things they have more useable footage of. Or if they were going to go all out and pay for all new in-suit footage it'd be for something with more of a legacy and history of success behind it, that being the Next Mutation crossover, or be for something they owned entirely and not have to share any of the earnings with Toei, that being Mystic Knights.
Beetleborgs was so successful that it was a real shame they ran out of footage. If it had continued. There is a possibility they could of stopped power rangers and kept beetleborgs going instead.
Power Rangers has done some amazing things in the realm of comics the last five years or so (Soul of the Dragon is seriously epic and underrated) I would love to see them do your ideas as "Forever Red: the Untold Story" complete with Nukus cameo and everything. Maybe Rocky was off disposing of him, which was why he couldn't join the others in the fight on the Moon.
Honestly, if they used the Matrons suits (alongside Shadowborg) instead of the ones they did, they could have made an interesting tie-in between Power Rangers and Beetleborgs. Like how they were a new type of Machine Empire soldiers (insect themed soldiers).
the premise of the show was actually pretty good. There wish to become Beetleborgs is a good explanation for how they recieved their powers, as well as why the bad guys came to life. Then in the next season, having Art's brother be the one behind creating new bad guys is good story telling. Also, making Art's involvement necessary due to the kids needing new powers.

My theory is that since Saban is a really cheap company they just used the leftover Beatleborg costumes as part of the Machine Empire instead of spending money to come up with monster designs and ideas but lore wise I guess the Beetleborg powers were stolen or cloned by the Machine Empire
I was a bit fond of beatleborgs as a kid but not a diehard fan. But honestly, the costumes work extremely well for villains. Improvisation and reappropriation are how you end up with some of the coolest stuff. For instance, when they ran out of zyu2 footage, we got the white ranger from Dai ranger. Tommy's white ranger suit works very well for a leader ranger, it doesn't clash but works on a complimentary level. I love these machine empire holdover guys. Only wish we saw more of them.
This would have been interesting to see I heard that during power rangers Zeo there were plans to have Brad Hawkins from VR Troopers reprise his role as Ryan Steel and become the gold ranger. This would have had both troopers and rangers in the same universe but it was obviously dropped tho Brad did voice Trey of triforia.
The funny thing out of the five Machine Empire Generals Costumes General Venjixes was the only one that was originally used as a villan Shadowborg, the rest we're all originally used for heroic characters.
OK so I’m not a current Power Rangers fan or any of that. I was target age when MMPR came out and recently learned of a Rangers fighting game that plays like Marvel vs Capcom so got it and an getting into that. But that gave me the nostalgia with Zedd and Tommy being characters. So you light a few doobies and you want the MMPR movie again just cause and while playing Fight For The Grid Super Edition (so you can have Ryu & Chun-Li too), then a movie breakdown video talks about another movie with all Red Rangers. So you spark a few and watch that. Not even a minute into the movie starting you check to see if you’re watching the right thing because you see Beetleborgs. Then you wonder where the knowledge of Beetleborgs was stashed at in your head. So you play this video. I’m a few minutes into the “legistics of Beetleborgs” portion and 🤯 who knew these memories even existed/needed to be unlocked. Shouts to you for the video!
Hey dude. You did an absolutely amazing job on this video/theory. I love Power Rangers and Beetleborgs and other shows like this ^^. Beetleborgs could have gone on a bit longer if you ask me. There was unused footage in both B fighter and B fighter Kabuto. Along with Monsters that could have been used too.

I loved Power Rangers as a kid. I also really liked V.R. Troopers. I remember thinking how awesome it would've been if there had been a P.R./V.R. crossover. Sadly, that never happened.... at least not on the show. IDK about the comics

Jason uses the Tyrannosaurus Coin...same thing as Adam did with the Mastodon coin during in space...he'd also have access to Ninjor and others who could fix it. Tommy never lost the Zeo powers, and with TJ getting his Turbo powers back via Lightning Cruiser as Justin got his from Mountain Blaster

@@stevenking9346 With Jason, it would be the same reason why Kimberly could later use hers with the comics after transferring them to Kat. It would also explain why Tommy would be able to use the Green Ranger powers with his master morpher later on despite the power being drained and given to his clone in the past. For the Zeo powers, even after they gain the Turbo ones, in the movie, Tommy was going to use them and doesn't morph in time. There is also the theory that with the In Space period, the Zeo powers were in use defending Earth while the new team was in space trying to find Zordon...and the Master Morpher toy also has a Turbo "coin" for it as well. For Dino Thunder, Tommy was, largely out of the game and was then using the same type of morpher as his team
I just finished you mystic knights video and you know what the same villians in the last stretch of the bettle Borges are exactly the same as the concept monsters for that second season of mystic nights
My theory is that Prince Gasket somehow got ahold of some Beetleborgs comics while detecting leftover trails of odd energy coming from the Charterville cemetery & created the generals off the characters. It certainly possible the Astralborgs were defeated off screen and their bodies were repurposed into the other generals.
My theory, before coming to Earth, the machine empire hit up Edenoi and adapted some stolen Edenoian powers (like Masked Rider) into 5 of their generals...hence the bug theme.

The only thing I think would have been different in your crossover fanfiction is Justin not having his powers. Because he got a replacement morpher from Storm Blaster's glove compartment in Power Rangers in Space. So he wouldn't need Flabber to restore his connection to the morphing grid. If anything a crossover with Justin and the Beetle Borgs could have involved Storm Blaster and maybe even Lightning Cruiser. Nukus could have used his remaining powers to temporarily corrupt the Lightning Cruiser or drain it of it's power to fuel himself, giving him an edge to attack the Beetle Borgs again. They'd beat him with Justin and Storm Blaster's help. Hell a past Zord from Turbo or even earlier could have even made a cameo. Because if Justin was basically a solo ranger by that point, he'd need a Zord that he could use himself. And there are a bunch of past ones that weren't actually destroyed that he'd have pick of. One of Billy Cranston's past Zords would fit fine. Like Billy's Wolf Zord or Shogun Zord. It's already been more or less proven some Zords can be piloted by different rangers, or some that aren't even rangers at all.
By the time Justin got his morpher storm blaster beetleborgs was already over snd they were prepping for Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. Thats the only reason Flabber would have to help him.

Great vid and theory, the only issue is Justin. He was a useless character and basically destroyed the franchise till space saved it. Supposedly they were gonna keep him for space but thank the Morphin masters they didn't and made an epic season that saved the franchise.
Honestly watching it back recently, In my opinion the first half with the zeo cast was really rough. JDF wanted to leave the show and it really felt like it showed in the story lines. He was absent in a majority of the episodes only showing up for the fights. It kind of put a lot of pressure on them using Blake Foster for main storylines. I think people didn't like that. I mean it worked on Beetleborgs and their ratings were higher than power rangers at the time. So on paper "great idea" but just didnt translate to the show. In space saved the franchise for sure! I'm want to do a video on that soon. Justin was well... justin, but did you see Blake Fosters Knock out? Im not messing with him haha

Beetleborgs was a nice experiment, the kids did annoy me a bit at first but became actual good characters and I accepted them. Whereas Justin, was just annoying and as a kid myself during that time I could see all his fighting amd character flaws. It also wasn't kool that they were trying to make him like the new Billy imo. Although it's a kids show and they do choreography for fights, at least make it somewhat believable for kids that actually know martial arts and then see Justin doing fake and poor stances along with techniques for fighting against bigger opponents. I could beat him back then, and I can do it now. He obviously has improved and would like to test his abilities. Looks like all that backlash from turbo motivated him to be good at something. 😉😅
@@michaelsolis4801 Blake Foster has a big background in Martial arts before power rangers. That's why he was casted. And man that fight was flawless. He came in first fight and crushed Mike who had way more experience in the ring. It's okay if you didn't like Justin on Turbo but Blake Foster is a badass man. I ain't challenging that guy to a fight.
