This is very close to what I've been using on my Hunchback 4L as of late. I have 6 medium lasers and only 1 Large laser, and I love it. The large is nice for long-range "poking" and the mediums are great for close up "punches"
Did that Catapult actually have a flinch animation from taking damage at 1:08? I´d absolutely love if the game had a response to insane amounts of damage like that like with double PPC fire! (apart from the pseudo-shaking of the cockpit while you are in first person which doesnt really affect you otherwise.)
Double heatsinks, the ones in engine are not nerfed (200% heat eff), others are weaker. (140% heat eff) Single heatsinks do 100% and 200% in legs in water. Your % heat eff is 4,000% with single heatsinks with 4,400% when in water if you got 40 ie this build. If they are double heat sinks, you get 2,000 from the engine and rest are 1960%. adding to 3,960% your build = 4,000% to 4,400% DHS = 3,960%. I love the banshee for this reason. You can have so much sh*t on it and be effective. Half my builds on it is based of 3060 builds and such (ie , 1 sm las, 5 med las, 1 lrm 15, 1 AC 10, 1 tag, 1 PPC) (or 5 med pulse, 1 med las, 2 ppc) I am happy I found this vid, You got a good firepower mech with good heat and when the Repair and Rearm costs, You will be rolling in money! No ridiculous high amount of c-bills to pay for fixing Endo Steel (the hardest thing to repair and most expensive), Or FF armour, or Double Heatsink replacement, or lostech weapons like pulse lasers, or ammo,Standard engine. etc! Only costy- part of this mech is the 95 tons of mech part. Besides that. This is awesome.
I'm playing MechWarrior 5 now, and hardpoints are more restrictive than they are in MWO. Most of my MWO builds won't carry over. But I think you can still build the BNC-3S "heat sink boat". 😄
Also by what merit do you base your argument? Space? Cool Rate? Heat Threshold? Because it's certainly not weight. Now for those like myself who don't accept what's told without explanation, with Elites the figures work out to the following: 24 DHS (10 DHS, 14 1.5HS) get 83.52 Threshold and 4.55h/s Cool Rate, for 14 tons and anywhere from 24 to 42 crits depending on engine size and assuming a minimum engine size of 250 to get those 10 engine heat sinks. While 40 SHS get 84 Threshold and 4.6 Cool Rate, for 30 tons, and 24 to 30 crits assuming the same as above. So yeah, 40 SHS beat 24 "DHS" by the slimmest of margins (.48 Threshold and .05h/s Cool Rate) if you have 16 spare tons, but unless you're in a high end Assault that's not likely the case, not without having less armor than a maxed out 75 tonner or an XL engine.
3 1/2 year old build AND IT STILL WORKS GREAT. Want more ARMOR?? Now you can use Light Ferro-Fibrous Armor! Dip into those unused slots for MAXIMUM PROTECTION!
I may have discovered the Clan version of this. Thirty DHS on a Marauder IIC. What weapons do you pair with that? Who cares! It's got thirty heat sinks, so you know it's going to run cool.
MrKrozius It's why I've started playing with is mechs again...I loved the clan mechs when they were new and un nerfed man those were great times in mwo...now it's just the same same bs again.
I actually troll around in this build some times. And I have the mech painted up in the Clan Invasion pattern to up the irony. It's not actually that bad.
Is it me, or does this video say nothing without endscreens and/or with how many games have been played (mechstats)? *context missing* I could run around all week in a Locust with no upgrades and only one small laser recording every match. Surely there would be a few kills, Locust = OP.

What are these 'skills' you speak of? I'm a pretty good pilot, but nothing special. The primary purpose of my videos is to make people giggle. The bluster and swagger is for comedic purposes only.

I took this build and added heavy gauss. Except with double heat sinks. :( Also took the 3M, added a 400XL with MPL and LPL. Return to the dead game FT!
I run this build with much love. To bad my team doesn't use me. alpha goes to like 46%??? on canyon network. literally every time I killed a mech I get flash backs to this video. MWO ptsd
