There are MANY “styles” when it comes to a Bowie knife, whenever I hear the word “Bowie knife” or see it somewhere (like this video)…a very specific design comes to my mind first & foremost…. AND THIS IS IT!!! THIS IS THAT DESIGN! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!
Hello, do not be tired, thank you for your efforts, my father used to say that in ancient times, knives came to us from America that could also cut iron.
Instead of watching a grown man romance his newly made blades everytime....i would much rather prefer watching some slicing through some Ballistic dummies to test the sharpness & craftsmanship.... "Forged in Fire" style! No offense! Love your hard work & skill!
@@freerkwieringa275 I'm a big guy and most of the knives I find that fit my paw look ridiculous or are "awesome looking" but terrible quality imported from overseas. So this is like seeing a rare magical object. 😉👍
If I were lost in the Canadian wilderness and only had one tool available to me, it would be that work shop. Seriously though, a person could chop wood, build a small shack, and kill/make dinner with that knife. Impressive.
That's a beast . Love your attention to detail and general blacksmithing . That thing is just a wow. If it was for me I think I'd like a slightly longer handle though , Bet its a wicked wood processor .
Eu já prefiro as facas Brut Forje no bom e velho estilo Old Frontier.
One of the most amazing knifes I’ve seen one makes Way beyond, what a nice finish Unbelievable, People don’t understand the finish here Very impressive
Great work of art, wow. That is one of the best Bowie knife I have seen. Your craftsmanship is beautiful. Can I ask, do you sell your knifes, if so where can I search for it?
I Love your forge. Very unique. A lot of your stuff looks very personal and not something i could go out and buy. Really really cool man. And your awesome, but I love your shop.
Anyone interested in seeing the imprinting of "fullers" (grooves) into the blade, see 5:32. Trivia: Posers and Padawans will tell you those indentations are "blood grooves" or "blood gutters," their function to allow smooth insertion when stabbing. Without fullers, the yarn compels, an inserted blade might suffer a sort of vacuum effect when being thrust into a human. To civilians listening to a poser or valor stealer this sounds right. After all, who are they to question the spinner of combat yarns sporting two, three, or a chest full of (eBay) valor awards. The truth: Fullers are imprinted on a knife blade to lighten and strengthen it.
Is just heating up flat steel and putting some curves in it still considered " forging". I am impressed but seems like if someone got precut surfaced lumber, sanded it a little and built a table... then said harvested and built a table. I could be wrong and happy to be corrected
