Came out looking nice, clever idea of using the two punches to twist it at first. I liked the way it looked with just a half-twist as well, might have to try that design in one of my projects. Good job!
Nice project! I keep like 3 or 4 ziplock bags half full of vinegar inside a plastic gallon paint can. I put all of my small parts and projects in them. Makes forge scale disappear in 2 days. For the bigger pieces, I use space bags then vacuum out the air, leaving the vinegar and project to soak: works well. (As long as I remember to east any sharp edges) You should use that big ol stump that your vise is mounted to, and start dishing different reliefs with hot steel on it. Makes it less steps to find your dishing swages or wood blocks. (Just my 2¢) Love the channel, brother. Keep ‘em coming!
