Rad project I can see from your hand at the end, holding point down, which is more common. That your ring is too in line with the handle it needs to be curved outward as aggressively as the point and if it pushes that pointer finger out just a bit it becomes a knuckle duster. But Doug would be stoked.

Cool video. Although I've never seen one with the back half sharpened. Those things are scary enough with just the hook sharpened. I'd have stitches for sure with that set up. Really like the pattern. Good job

Welcome to Karambit world bro. Karambits are designed for reverse grip from forefinger in the hole not the pinky. Just a headsup. They are a pain to create and doing hammered bevels. I've created around 18 now for clients and all are different in shape of blade and some grip variants. God Bless and keep yp the great vids.

As always great work! When you make a Damascus like that I always thought it would be cool if say when you cut the fish mouthing off of the end. You kept all of those little pieces and one day made a canister Damascus out of them. Of course it goes without saying you would have to keep track of all those little pieces when cutting them off and for the foreseeable future. Just a thought I have every time I see somebody do it. Shes a beut

Great knife, awesome job. You really should use a block of wood or something to wrap the sandpaper around, it'll give you a lot more force when handsanding.

Okay, the next time you make a Karambit (both pronunciations are correct) When you're grinding the recurved bevel I found that it is far easier to use a 7-9" contact wheel on the grinder. Also... Have you no sanding sticks? if not you an make them out of 1018 flat bar some super glue and a little bit of leather. Makes really short work out of Hand Sanding... that and a clean 400 grit machine finish :) Really dig that pattern by the way, the blade itself came out really nice, minor goofs notwithstanding... Still for the first time making one it turned out pretty solid regardless

the karambit was not designer as a weapon it was originaly farming tool
