I just love how every stroke and move is so deliberate. Watching you work made me realize that I was often applying to much force to my blows and just deforming the metal needlessly. thanks again....can't wait for your next projects!
Not sure if I watch your channel because your shop is so clean and airy and well lighted that you could perform open heart surgery in it. Or whether its because you seem determined to drag blacksmithing into the 21st C. by the anvil stump. Whatever, they are a pleasure to watch. Thank you.
1st time viewer, pretty snazzy set up there. Good solid build on the calipers. If it's ok w you I'll look round at some of your other work in your creations for the old you tube. 🙏blessins your way sirSir Crawford out 🧙♂️
Good project. You need to wear gloves when operating that wire wheel though. Its amazing how fast skin dissappears when it comes into contact with the wheel :-) Keep up the good work
It's even more amazing the damage that occurs to a hand and arm that have been caught by the glove on a wire wheel and wrapped tightly around a shaft. I would rather lose the skin
@@SuperiorEtchworx well said sir. I will keep saying it till my last day: don't wear gloves near rotating machines, neither loose clothes, neither long hair. A skin bruise is really little thing compared to losing a finger, a hand, or a life...
