@@XarazelMost countries don't have laws against crossing the road at places other than crossings, and it's a contributing factor to why many other countries have walkable cities/less dependence on cars Essentially, the law was created not to protect pedestrians, but to place the blame on pedestrians if they got hit by cars (instead of blaming the driver). Car companies were worried that if the drivers were blamed when people got run over, it'd lead to less sales, so bribed politicians into inventing "jaywalking" as a method of shifting the blame onto the person who got hit

I love this guy. Out of every place they’ve done a 10MPH at he definitely seems to vibe with Dan and Arin the most. A lot of the instructors feel like they almost get annoyed with their goofy antics, but he just gets it

I did something almost exactly like this in metal shop back in high school. I was going for twisty candle holder made of wrought iron. Got to use the forge, hammer it, twist it, bend it. So much fun. But I was a nerd and the shop teacher didn't care for nerds, so I got no encouragement or help. And I didn't know how to arc weld, so it never got put together. So many times I think my life could have gone off in fun and awesome directions if only I ever got some kind of encouragement. Like even an occasional "good job" could have got me excited about some career path. But none of that was in the stars for me.

😂 The Vlogsmith has to be my FAVORITE Grumps guest so far. He’s playful, patient, kind, goofy and fits in with a lot of Dan and Arin’s shenanigans. Like, he feels the most relaxed and natural where many of the others seemed a bit more….rigid? Not that they were mean or anything, but the just seemed a little withdrawn on how much goofy they think they can (or want) to show when on camera.
