We can recover and reset Screen Time Passcode of any iPhone & iPad running on iOS 12 or iOS 13. I have came across tons of RU-vid videos on forgotten screen time reset. But to be honest I didn't find even a single video which provided the real solution. Most of the video recommended to reset settings to set a new Screen Time Passcode. But this is definitely not the thing you are looking for.

Well the solution is we can use a small piece of tool called Pinfinder. And using this tool we can recover our screen time passcode on Windows, Linux & Mac. The good part is the tool can recover both screen time passcode and restrictions passcode.

Screen Time Passcode VS Restrictions Passcode : Well Apple really sometimes confuses its consumers. In fact if you upgraded your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from iOS 11 to iOS 12 or iOS 13 you will see there is no option like restrictions passcode. Restrictions passcode is replaced by screen time passcode nowadays. I think underlying technology of restrictions passcode and screen time passcode is exactly same. And if you put any passcode for restrictions passcode it will be automatically used for screen time passcode. It means your screen time passcode already set. The funny part is many people know their restrictions passcode but still search in google asking what is my screen time passcode or I don't know my screen time passcode.

Default Screen Time Passcode : If you didn't set restrictions passcode before still your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch might ask for a password. In this case you can try with 0000. This passcode worked for many users. You can try 1111 to 9999 too. Many experts consider this as screen time passcode bug by Apple. I am not saying though. But it can be.
What If Your Screen Time Passcode is Not Working? : If so you can watch my video till the and recover screen time passcode in iOS 12 or iOS 13. After recovery you can do a screen time passcode reset. This is really handy tool for you if you forgot your screen time passcode.
Caution : You must take a full backup before recovery attempt of the passcode. If you are using iOS 11 you can take either an encrypted backup or non encrypted backup. It doesn't matter. If you use iOS 12 or iOS 13 you must take a full encrypted backup using your iTunes. In iOS 12 & in iOS 13 iTunes doesn't take backup of screen time passcode if you take a non encrypted backup. My personal suggestion is you should go for encrypted backup ignoring whatever iOS your are using.
