And THAT my friend is how you do a worthwhile instructional video. I'll be doing my 1250 Bandit this week with full confidence now. Share the love, and Choose The Right!
This was a great video! Thank You!! I had a leaking seal on my blue Bandit 1250S and decided to change it myself. I was in a little over my head until I saw your video. Saved my life. BTW instead of buying a 43mm oil seal driver for $50, I found that an empty caulk tube fits just right. It's a little flimsy, but it did the job.
Thanks so much for posting this how to.. I just did my B1250 forks, was as easy as you made it look, made a driver out of some scrap scd 80 pvc.. probably saved hundreds!
just ordered new 1.1kg/mm springs for my bandit 1250, this video along with hanes and the right tools should make things a lot less stressful. love the psalms at the end, btw
15:41 just did mine thanks for help but now they are to hard what could i have done wrong 10 weight oil 500ml in each tried all positions on top nut as well treaded nut different positions as it was halfway down when i took ot apart cheers 🤔🤔
Would you still recommend 10 weight for a 2005 Bandit 1200s with a 280lb rider who also sometimes has a 160lb passenger? Also, would you recommend firmer springs (possibly progressive)? Thanks
I would recommend 10wt still. I think stiffer springs would be good. Not sure what rate but I think Racetech will have a recommendation for your application
I just bought a Bandit 1200 today and the forks squeak when I hold the front brake and compress the forks. Have you ever ran into this? It squeaks when both being compressed and then released. I appreciate any help!
I just did my forks but im not getting good results. Race tech springs .95kg/mm. 105 mm air gap, new spacer installed. Forks are still pretty useless. Wtf
And you are criticizing my technique? Hahahha. Also, what do you expect with those forks?? Race performance?? They are simple and so is the bike. Which is a good thing. It’s not a sport bike.
@@Josieman543 ok. I do. I learned from some of the best in the business. But whatever you want to think. Look at a set of brand new forks that are the normal chrome finish.
