Good review, sat here wearing in my new ones! (Long black version). You missed an important detail for newbies though....the buckles are adjustable, they can be pulled out, nearly sent them back before I realised this. I have large calves and can now tuck my leather in and do them up no trouble. Very comfy, ordered a size bigger than normal shoes. Update, see reply below.
Update... 2020 still wearing them, they they didn’t get much wear in 2021 due to lockdown. They are NOT waterproof. I’ve tried waterproofing wax, and waterproofing spray with little success, lasts for a trip or two then wet feet. Had to resort to waterproof socks, another £30!
Great review Spurg. I am a budding Adventure enthusiast. I am concerned about the Low not providing adequate protection vs the Tall ADV boot. Riding mix: 80% Onroad & 20% Light Offroad (To begin with). Think I'll try out both the boots & then make the final call.
I bought the high boots two years ago, just before the low boots were introduced. I have no complaints, I love the boots. But if I could have I woulda bought the low ones, just for ease under a pant leg. I might get both!
@@kimjongryan9043 beartrap adventure bike footpegs scratched up my leg during a low speed get off. If the boots had been an inch taller I would have got off basically unscathed.
Great review mate. I'm about to take back for an exchange a pair of Sidi adventure gortex boots because I can't feel the gear/brake lever over and under my foot. These forma boots that have been recommended to me. So on a scale of 1-10 (1being crap and 10 being awesome) where would you put the feel of the under/over toe feedback from the levers? Tcrs✊
Between these and the Forma Boulders, what would y'all recommend for a 50/50 mix of commuting/hooligan riding on a supemoto? The commuting part of it would be county and FM back roads (in order to avoid the highway and traffic), but I'd wind up riding into the city for class.
For supermoto riding, I'd recommend the Boulder Boots, as you'll probably like the better 'feel' the flatter soles provide. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/forma-boulder-boots
Hello from Spain, Question about Forma Adventure Boots. I live in an area were it is about 25º C (77º F ) to 32º C ( 89º F) all (!) year round Questions:How do the Boots behave in that temperature ? Do you sweat a lot wearing them during the Summertime ? Thank you. Honda Africa Twin Honda CB 1100
The boots are fully waterproof, so they don't breathe as well as non-waterproof boots. However, most adventure boots are waterproof, so it's hard to get around that. In that temperature range, these boots will feel warm. However, if you wear merino wool or wool-blend performance socks, that will help keep your feet cooler. -DrewZilla
They are waterproof boots, so they will feel hot in Brazil. However, you can increase the comfort by wearing merino wool socks or socks with Coolmax. Many of us here really like REV'IT! I am a short rider, looking for an adventure touring boot with a thicker sole to give me some added height. The daytona m star boots might work, but they are so expensive and doesn't look like it has as much protection. Would this boot be helpful though? I currently wear Tourmaster WP 2.0 boots. Thanks!
Maybe someone can measure the insole of 47 euro size Forma Adventure Low Boots? I don't want miss the size because sending to russia and back it's very long time. I think i need 47, because on mine Salomon/Skechers/Nike write different UK/US/EUR sizes, but every shoe have CM/JAPAN is 31. Thanks.

They feel hotter than non-waterproof boots, but with proper summer motorcycle socks, they feel good. -DrewZilla *bit.ly/Forma_ADV_Boots *bit.ly/Forma_ADV_Socks
