We have the ,,let's call each other ,,ty"" in Bulgarian as well, we say ,,let's talk to each other using the pronoun ,,ти"" literally. I found your channel just this evening and I already love it, because it's simple and great explained. Keep up the good work!

Oh hey, Slavic languages share a lot of interesting grammar elements, don't they! Thank you!

Hi thank you for your excellent video, it really helped clarified things a lot. I do have a (perhaps silly) question though, what if I'm addressing a group of people whom I just know? I'm assuming in present tense, that will still be: mluvite česky and in past tense, it will be mluvili jste česky (mixed or male groups) mluvily jste česky (female only group)

si pamatuju jak jeden učitel jednou řekl "vy vole" jako reakci na to že někdo zahlásil "týýýýý vole" směrem k němu :-)

Řekl to dobře učitelovi! Nevím, v Česku je "ty vole" docela....neformalni, elegantně řečeno! Ale pro nás, kteří žijeme jinde, kde jsou komunity Čechů a Slováků (jsem z Rumunska!), ten výraz je velmi vulgární.

@@laszlovondracsek Ty vole v moderní Češtině neni nadávka směrovaná na někoho ale prostě něco jako "ty jo" nebo jinej výraz proto že se něčemu třeba divíš a podobně.

Hey, Cool! There are some nice FB accounts dedicated to helping Czech language learners like: facebook.com/ceskykrokzakrokem/ . Teach Yourself Czech" by David Short is supposed to be a good book and also Czech Step by Step is really great (this one I use in my lessons, although I'm not sure about using it for self study). I also highly recommend getting a flashcard app like Anymemo to memorize new vocab and of course if you're interested in online lessons have a look at our website: www.e-languages.cz/#english
