Thank you for another enthusiastic review. The sites on old rifles and handguns seem to be so esoteric you wonder how any target was hit. A different generation without computers most likely. Thank again.
I’m so glad your enjoying the content! We are working every day figuring out better ways to present information and better editing. I agree on working with these intensely old analog rifles. If I didn’t have access to unlimited information this Berthier may have never came out of the save or suffered a worse fate of being improperly scoped.
Them Carcanos are something serious. Gotta aim clear under the deer at 50yds for a spine shot. Im going to try leveling the rear sight with the front sight on this one before I just remove the blade. Removing the blade would however put me in the ethical zone now I just don’t want to do too many “quick” fixes before fielding this.
@@texascastblast5011 that should work you can incriminately raise it until you get your desired results. Which hopefully doesn’t mean your going to have to craft a 2” putty sight.
