As someone who uses a Fulton Armory M1 Carbine as a GPR with nearly 5 years and thousands of rounds behind it, I can attest to its usability, power and reliability even by modern standards. M1 Carbine's are phenomenal rifles and I cant recommend them enough to new and experienced shooters alike.
Thank you! They weren’t all specifically wood but because of war time production strains they did produce wood plates which is the biggest draw because of their scarcity
I got a 49-56 YEARS ago. It was in the 308. I knew about the slam fire. So, I changed the firing pin for one with a spring! Fixed the problem! I changed the gas shut-off pin with a adj. gas one. No more brass in the next county! Maybe I just got lucky! But it shoots great. The dealer at the gun show had 6 when I picked mine up. The next day I went back to get more, they were all gone!! After shooting it my friend wanted one. And my son wanted one. Sorry about your gun!!!
Been a mauser man since the beginning but never owned a 7x57. Ehhh... I dunno if its "Spanish steel" as much as its a small ring mauser. Wasn't designed for a steady ingest of commercial 308. That said, I've seen a few with commercial aftermarket barrels.
Yea the lugs an reciever just can’t handle the continuous pressures of commercial .308win. You definitely should get you a Spanish hornet. Super flat shooting an super zippy. The deer don’t run they just lay down on impact. Incredible they decided to invent the 7.92 because we all just GOTTA adopt a .30 cal
I love the m1916 in 7x57 it’s an excellent carbine great hunting rifle got a few hogs with mine and got it on video, I’m still trying to find one with the early roller coaster sights
@@texascastblast5011 heck yea! I’ve taken a few deer and several pigs. Love the 7x57. I would take an early Spanish or a Ghewer with the cool roller coaster sights!
@@joeymurphy5617 I agree I have two commercially done sporters that are amazing and are themselves an important part of American history. However when bubba tried to copy those commercial sporters THOSE have to fixed 😅
@@BigBoyRabbit420 Bolt was bent for a scope, barreled action was put into a Monte Carlo stock that had a stock comb that was too high to use the iron sights. Receiver had weaver scope bases some kind of welded on to the rifle. Rifle was set up to have a scope mounted on it but Bubba didn’t switch the safety to one of the aftermarket safeties that will clear the scope’s eye piece. It wasn’t a bad looking rifle, it was just little things that made the rifle a pain in the dick.
The bolt head basically grabs the cartridge as it picks it from the magazine and holds it until you eject the round. Controlled round feeding. File the back of your mag follower so the bolt will close on an empty mag. It's easy, home boy. 👍🏽
Buying ex african abused garbage guns from a scam company is one dumb thing, but then loading said harbage rod with antique ammo is another. Save your money and buy non RTI junk
I've had critters knock trees pver close enough to me that i could feel the vibration of the impact through the ground. All while it was a wind less day
I mean so I get it. But here is the thing. Ligma, can I call you ligma? So Ligma I’m not having to mag dump this Savage. I do agree that A17 is slick and this B-mag has the dumbest bolt design ever but as a distance varmint eraser it works VERY well
Tsu Kalu is a Cherokee Bigfoot and a spirit. You can't kill a spirit. You can wound them in their physical form, but.. Cherokee Nation Ozarks here. We have "things". Many that we don't discuss. Good show and I think im subbed to all you mentioned.
Heck yea that’s awesome! I’m in traditional Choctaw/Mississippian culture territory. I don’t know as much of the Choctaw lore as I would like but it’s not my culture so I only know what they will tell me lol
@@BigBoyRabbit420 Cool. Lots of superstition around the Indian nations to this day. BlindSniper should do a show about the cursed peacocks of Florida, huh? 😂🤣😂
You actually load the hakim via stripper clips through the channel into the magazine. The magazine was usually only removed for cleaning or maintenance.
A lot of You Tubers hate on RTI, but I have rolled the dice with them four times now knowing what to expect, and not getting my hopes up. I have lucked out so far! :) I stick with the guns that are simple, well designed, and can withstand abuse. :)
Lord I feel you! That’s actually the reason I’m going to black powder and antiques. Have or have had most the modern stuff an now the prices continue to sore. The BPs are easily attainable and something I don’t know. Also BP will soon be as expensive as modern things
I absolutely do. I had my normal level of skepticism because I try out a lot of the sub cal and conversion inserts. But this one so far is 10/10 perfection. I’m strongly endorsing this one. Should be making a full review episode soon thank ya’ll for an amazing product!!
The pressure from the .410 is much lower than the actual 11mm like a lot. And bro I really want to get to them but lord a mighty am I busy with all the channels and stuff. Soon as I’m back settled I’m going to get back on it. The call is just insanely small compared to other things
Update for you. I got smelting equipment today. Going to get set up in my new spot an start pouring on moulds this week I think. It will be a bit before I start pouring aluminum buuuuuuuut looking like by the end of this year fingers crossed an knock on every piece of wood you see
Heck yea! I frickin love these. They turned my Gras into daily use guns. So glad I was able to share it with other Gras enthusiasts. The price an free shipping is so good. I got two to test out but then ordered two more because they are just so awesome
The B-Mag is junk by design . The action screws go to the trigger group which is held to the receiver by a keyway. Horrible design will always be a piece of s h I t
Should switch the light and laser position so that you have 2 separate zeros with the laser... One closer and one further away. For reasons I can't explain in text, you only get one "zero" with laser on bottom.
Unfortunately they are set up the way they are because that’s the only way they fit. I had every intention of putting the laser on top and a red dot. But that’s not how the gun gods wanted it to go 😅
