Last week in a hostile environment for black journalists, Trump got the crowd laughing, and whooping, and some jeering from the haters. But I noticed he was perfectly comfortable but one could tell by the tone of the reporter's voice that it rattled her. He did the same thing with another way too inexperienced reporter on a CNN town hall format some months ago. This is why they don't want a crowd. I believe the reason why she doesn't want to debate is obvious. When she first became VP she didn't handle interviews very well. If they asked her a pressing question, that she didn't know how to answer, she would break out in the giggle of hers and that became her trade mark. Or come up with something like, "And I've never been to Europe."
For a person that was the top prosecutor in California, it's amazing that she doesn't have the capacity to know that when the terms of a contract change, such as one of the parties in the contract changes, then either the old contract must be agreed to again, or a new contract has to be drawn up, or the contract is just tossed out and has no merit anymore. If I'm a landscaper mowing your lawn weekly, and you sell the house, for the most part the new owner doesn't just take on the previous owners service providers. They can agree to it, but it isn't an automatic thing.

As long as the moderators stick to Harris's talking points, Harris should be OK (but that's not guaranteed). If the opponent is allowed to ask questions, Harris is stumped, UNLESS that question is one of Harris's talking points (and we all know Trump will make sure he only asks questions related to Kamala's talking points, right?). Like Joe, if Kamala wanders off script she fumbles - you cannot turn a fumbler into an eloquent off the cuff speaker in a few weeks (and they have been trying to train Kamala to speak eloquently for more than 4 years).
