Former Aryan Brotherhood Leader Michael Thompson Tells His Life Story (Full Interview)

Michael Thompson came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, where he detailed being a former high-ranking member of the Aryan Brotherhood. However, Michael started off speaking about growing up on a reservation in the Sierras with his father, who was half Native American. After moving off of the reservation at just 12, Michael detailed being on the bull riding circuit and later facing life for an incident that he hopes will soon be exonerated. While in prison, Michael spoke about being recruited by several gangs and joining the Aryan Brotherhood. Michael explained how things were structured, and he also detailed things that he witnessed while in prison, including prison wives. While in Folsom Prison, Michael was locked up with notorious criminal Charles Manson, and he also spoke about a run-in with Joe “Pegleg” Morgan, the first non-Hispanic member of the Mexican Mafia. After some shake-ups within the Aryan Brotherhood, Michael thought about leaving the gang, and Michael then spoke about cooperating with authorities. To hear more, including Michael speaking about getting out of prison in 2020, hit the above clip.

You may think so. All I ever did was treat people (most of whom weren't convicted yet) as another human being. Everyone got a fair shake, and I lied to NOBODY. That reputation helped keep me safe. Many inmates referred to me as the "Nuclear White Boy", while a court officer told my son and his Scout friends visiting a court session "We call your father the RIOT DEPUTY. He seems to start one and quell it himself almost every day he works." You're sleeping? I'm checking the utility corridor for your shanks. Block empty for chow? I never steal the inmates wine "Until its time". Don't be so fluff in your opinions of correctional officers. 9 years after I moved to another state, I was back in town leaving for a cruise. The Stevedore took our bags and I offered him a tip. He said "Nope, I remember you from 811" (the address of the jail.) Had inmates come up to me in the mall to introduce me to their Grandma/Wife. That's just respect. Give it, Get it. You should know that.

His personal best bench press was 633 lbs. I’ve yet to see a picture of Thompson looking anywhere near as big as Kazmaier. However, Thompson undoubtedly did a lot of good when he debriefed. And he obviously has a moral code and a conscience. He’s clearly just having problems leaving the penitentiary braggadocio behind.

In the very first answer about being exposed to racism in his childhood I understood what he was talking about when he said the natives were racist against him. One of my childhood-adolescent friend's mom lived on a reservation and was a full Mohawk (my friend's dad had primary custody and did not live on the res and was not native). When we would go visit her I (being Caucasian) would be called "White Bread" and various racist names by the native kids and teens on the res. It was the first time I had experienced racism as a target and it felt awful. I can't imagine how people feel going through life dealing with that regularly. Racism is such a horrible part of our world.

I`ve just finished watching this video and I`m still trying to process what I`ve just listened to. There are so many layers to his story that I don´t really know where to begin. One thing that pops in my mind is that his story is a testamant to what some human beings are capable of coping with. I have no idea how many people worldwide could go through what he went through and emerge mentally intact, but this number has to be very small. I take my hat off to this man for enduring the unthinkable and becoming the person he is today.
