@@jodidavis5764 so....is feeling sorry for ones self ONLY reserved for killers....? Do those who feel sorry for others ALSO feel sorry for the self?? Or.....nebula
my dog was madly in love with Candice DeLong. When she came on deadly women he would run towards the tv. And nodding with her when she looked in the camera and spoke animated. it was adorable!
Yes, I like her too. Her matter-of-fact assessment of killer behaviors are what make shows like Deadly Women have an air of seriousness, but her dry lines are funny too.
I lack empathy, remorse, or guilt . I actually don’t even feel fear, however my body does . I don’t find most people’s jokes funny and people can’t tell if I’m telling a joke or not . But I don’t manipulate people, desire to hurt people( without extreme justification), or lie to advance in life/power. I don’t build emotional attachment to people either . And I can’t relate to others pain. Your mom died ? “I’m sorry to hear that” but honestly I’m not saddened. Even when my “loved” ones pass it’s not something that affects me. Am I a sociopath ?
Sociopath is a term that used to be used to describe what's now called ASPD. What you described is psychopathy, do an online test called the 'PCL-R'. If you score over 30, you're probably a psychopath.
@@obi-wankenobi2974 You can't get a diagnosis of psychopathy, it's not classified as a disorder. To say there's stigma would be an understatement too, whilst online PCL-R testing isn't a diagnosis, it'll help him confirm what he probably already knows.
They mentioned narcissistic personality disorder in terms of “psychopathy” (psychopathy is not a psychological disorder according to the DSM-5) but failed to mention Antisocial Personality disorder
True, but due to the widespread misuse of several Cluster B type disorders including Antisocial Personality Disorder, earlier volumes of the DSM were changed for clarity purposes. But to date the APA/DSM-IV & V still recognize psychopaths & sociopaths to define parts of the disorder. Psychopath referring to those born with the disorder & Sociopath referring to those who develop it throughout life experience as a learned behavior. One is born, one is made, nature vs nature etc etc.
I honestly don't know how he could be regarded as a psychopath given his extreme levels of stress and anxiety that he repeatedly showed throughout the investigation. Like when he was swaying backwards and forwards, sweating, hyperventilating, the works when he was looking at his neighbours cctv alongside a police officer. That is no psychopath.
new research in the scientific journal Personality and Individual Differences has found that some psychopaths have higher levels of anxiety and stress.
Well I once found research in which psychopaths tends to act cool most of the times but their heart rate suddenly increases when they realize they might be caught.
Do you think a person who is not a psychopath can lie so smoothly....not to mention murder his pregnant wife and kids with his bare hands. .. while looking them in the eyes?
He didn’t bank on Nichole A, being there and calling the police. CW thought he had bags of time to clear Shanann’s handbag phone, and such out of the house.
Chris probably failed the polygraph because he saw the walls closing in on him. He may have been cool and calm during the murders but when he found out they were on to him at Nate's house, his anxiety kicked up full force.
They don’t feel anything. They are empty shells, could care less about anything or anyone, least of all those closest to them. I hope he faces Jesus and will be punished in the next life as well. Prayers and Love to Shan’ann, Bella, Celeste, and Nico… may they rest in the arms of Jesus ….
@@carlobautista6581 You can't choose to be a psychopath. You either are one or you aren't. The only thing you have some control over is how you behave.
@@carlobautista6581 Reprobate? In the Calvinist sense, that would certainly mean it's not their fault. 😆 Lol. You don't actually understand what psychopathy is, do you? It's not something you CHOOSE. It is a condition, the brain is wired differently from the beginning. You don't have a "moral compass" in the first place. That doesn't mean you're not responsible for how you choose to behave, obviously, as psychopaths are typically smart enough to understand that actions have consequences.
I think i lack in remorse. Like I regret thinks from my own good (like if I did something wrong to someone, then I’d regret it for the reason that they wouldn’t like me, not because I feel sorry). Yet I have a good understanding of people’s thoughts and feelings when my friends seek for mental help (according to my closest friends). I mean I never have bad intentions tho...and I have average empathy but not so much about care.
Because they usually go together. Someone can have NPD without being a psychopath but almost all psychopaths have NPD because they only care about themselves.
God God bless them, 4 souls that he just blanked out, was married to a narrisist and I do honestly believe that I got away with my life, God bless these 2 little girls their Mum and unborn brother may they Rest in Peace.
It’s important to note that all abusive people are not necessarily narcissists, and that you shouldn’t diagnose someone else without proper education and unbiased perspective. It’s also important to note that not all narcissistic people are abusive, and some can maintain a healthy relationship. In the video, dr Phil brings up narcissistic personality disorder, but he is actually wrong, and in most cases people who are classified as psychopaths, fit more into antisocial personality disorder.
Just from the comments it’s obvious part of what’s wrong with humanity is they’d rather tear down women for what they look like than monstrous men for their actions. 🤔
I think some children are not allowed to express thier emotions. Being shamed when they cry, pushed away when they need effection, lack of attention. A child learns to hold thier feelings in, and they never develope the different emotions like for remorse, or empathy, real trust, love, sadness, loss. That doesn't make everyone of them a psychopath.
Candace is contradicting herself. So psychopaths don’t feel stressed… But Chris was clearly stressed when the cops came around, And while watching the video at his neighbors house to mention during the polygraph because he feels so horribly. Dude wasn’t a psychopath or narcissist or anything… He was just sick of married life, sick of the responsibility of children, and wanted to bang his mistress without his family around. I believe he was completely infatuated with the scenario of no more responsibility and just having fun.
They do not feel remorse. However, people often do not notice that when it comes to men like CW ( quiet, friendly, steady job etc..) because they do feel regret ( when they experience an unwanted consequence to their actions) and IMO they look similar. If you have no reason to suspect a person feels no remorse, then it is even more unlikely you would notice this.
I have had exes go out on me like this guy did. In response, I leave them, not ask why or confront them. Why bother if they don't want you or the relationship? I wonder if she would have had a chance if she had left him?
I think Chris Watts wanted that other female so bad he knew that his family would be a burden in that fantasy relationship, I think it started as a thought to kill his wife. Honestly I would think she caught him cheating and confronted Chris in the house about using their card at a restaurant, she may have lost it she looks like the type and he just went for it in the heat of the moment and just killed her then the little girls walked in and he knew they would rat him out. So he said you know what I gotta kill everyone at this point to get away with this, he wanted that other relationship to come to fruition so bad he would even take his own children’s lives to fulfill it. But then again there were no marks on his body, there’s no shot he killed her and she didn’t at least get a scratch on his body from the altercation. To me he probably waited for her to come home and he hit her in the back of the head and killed her instantly , then just killed the kids to secure himself from not going to prison. He knew the wife couldn’t just disappear she wouldn’t leave without the kids if the cops asked him why would your wife leave without the children as well as pregnant, this wasn’t a thought out murder this looks like he just lost it and it wasn’t premeditated. He was sort of trying to arrange the murder as it was happening, which is why he got caught a day later.
He used that card to pay for his dates dinner ON PURPOSE. He’s not the smartest guy but he knew exactly what he was doing here and he even hinted at that in his interview. He wanted to punish her, and because he is a wussy he wanted to trigger her into a fight. That’s exactly what happened and then he followed through with his plan.
We live in a world where they say being a narcissist, selfish, sociopath or psychopath, egomaniac is bad, but those are the things that make life better, living a better life and being successful
@@osolsl9321wrong. The OP just listed off a BUNCH of personality types. And no one can choose to be a psychopath. OP makes it sound like a choice. 🤦🏻♀️
Normal person would be I don’t love you anymore and want to get a divorce however I like to see my precious babies that is what normal person would do,he is not a normal person is he he has no empathy no remorse or care for his family.Of course he is a mentally disturbed person normal emphatic person can’t hurt a fly this guy got rid of his entire family of course he is not normal.
It pisses me off he had the nerve to blame shannan for killing their daughter etc all those lies knowing she was a good loving mother ugh I wish he would of got the death penalty but I understand why the family of shannan didnt do that but we all know even if someone is on death row sit there usually for a while before being killed.. but I would let the inmates take care of him for real save some tax payers money.. he is disgusting and should of been swallowed
Imo he is not a psychopath Some traits he have shown completely contradicts ASPD Once again this must be a case of if you murder you must be a psychopath instead of truly defining what ASPD is
