Yep Mark came at him hot out of the gates intentionally. They have a You Tube channel called The Behaviour Panel. It is so interesting and informative to watch. I’ve watched so much of them now that I pause and have my own notes and then I listen to theirs and I’ve caught a lot of the stuff they do. Really great channel. :)
@Baby Yoda He has to do something; internally, he's experiencing an emotional storm. He nods to sublimate what would otherwise be a more natural (and obviously revealing) reaction. Kind of like certain politicians who have been trained to laugh out loud at remarks that really make them angry. Take the emotional energy and put it into something less inappropriate.
Dr Phil is such a legend, whenever he gets guests like this who are just completely dishonest he usually only brings in one expert to call them out and unmask their lies. But this time he brought in the 4 Horseman of this man's apocalypse and in not even 3 minutes they already unmasked this man's disgusting lies and behaviour

Yeah I thought it was weird that they were giving him details like that. I know you can train your upper body to avoid detection, but the lower body is ruled by the limbic system. So if you see someone's feet facing the nearest exit, they might be lying.
That's exactly what narcissistic abusers do. They take any attempts from others to help them and use that information to become a more effective abuser. That's why therapy for these kinds of people can be dangerous. It just provides them with more information that they'll use to exploit and manipulate their victims more effectively.

As someone that is currently in massage therapy school and currently learning all about this stuff right now, this makes me really grossed out. Be careful when getting a massage. Research the massage therapist before and don’t go to just anyone. If you feel uncomfortable at any point during the massage, tell the massage therapist that you want to stop. They aren’t allowed to ask why you would like to stop the treatment. Take care of yourself first.

These four guys (the behavior panel) are non-biased. Had he been innocent, they would've detected exactly that. Try watching their channel- they definitely analyzed some people and found them totally honest!
These guys are brilliant. They have a RU-vid channel and analyse various interviews or appearances given by celebrities and politicians. Left and right. It's all very informative and very entertaining.
You don’t have to be an expert to know he’s lying.. The point of the experts is so he understands that evidently everyone knows he’s lying. Yet he still doesn’t seem to get it so idk, maybe he really is just that narcissistic
this video helped a lot because these are all traits that my boyfriend has shown, and he kept blaming me and telling me I'm crazy but I stuck to my gut and followed my instincts for quite some time. I found out 5 days ago he's been talking to his ex girlfriend this entire time we've been dating. I also know that he went to go visit her last night and claimed he went to go see his parents. Tonight I'll be confronting him and I'm hoping I'll stay calm and keep looking at all the gestures he makes, because love is blind. he also has an excuse for everything even when I present him the truth, his defense mechanism is yo get angry and try to manipulate me by blaming me. Just be careful you don’t act as though you are now a body language expert. They talk about “tells” in this video, but the tells are largely specific to him. What isn’t covered off on as much is the “baseline”. It generally takes years of training to be able to establish a persons baseline. It requires you to be sure you are basing their natural quirks off honest statements, while understanding how these quirks differ during untruthful statements , which generally also requires you know they are being untruthful on at least one thing.

But i need answers because i moved to a whole different country for him. I need to know if I'm wasting my time. I'm going to try and be completely objective and not biased.
FortuneCookie I feel like being in a relationship with someone for a good amount of time would help you apply the baseline and tells, I guess. But it takes an expert to do it with largely unknown people
