It's the end of the "liberal world order" that was established following the end of the second world war. It brought about some good things, like the UN, the massive global trade network that brings us apples from Argentina to Thailand for packaging to the US for consumption, almost perpetual peace amongst the major powers in the world, and more. But it also brought about the enslavement of the people unlucky enough to be born in 3rd world countries, wars in the third world brought on by the major powers, globalism, and more. But like all things, good and bad, they all come to an end. The Pax Romana didn't last, neither will the Pax Americana.

Gun control is so strict in Japan that a shooting case is very very rare. Moreover, the case where the former Prime Minister was assassinated is also very shocking. Many Japanese suspect that the assassination may be an international conspiracy, as Mr Abe strongly restrained China's invasion of Taiwan. If that is true, this world is very scary.

Security is largely based on a past history of occurrences. Japan doesn’t have a history of this occurring so they have poor security, the USA on the other hand has had so many assassinations and murders of their political leaders that they are security experts lol

The day before this incident, Mr Abe was making a campaign speech telling that he is only 67 years old, and he said himself as young man who still want to change Japan. His passion and vision is still so strong but sunndently killed. The vialoance took Freedom of speech from our most powerful politian who still have great power in the party.

No. Gun regulation in Japan is a top notch . Very strict and has a big mental test. Strict background check including Family and friends interviews. Shooting cases in Japan are in single digits per year.
Mental illness is a problem in every country on earth, and I suspect that must have been what caused this. Mr. Abe wasn't their PM anymore, so there was no rational reason to want him dead at this point. A psychotic person suffering from delusions will often have a reason for what they do that doesn't make sense to anyone but them.
