Labour is currently a party that has intentionally distanced themselves from leftist politics specifically because of him - why would he remain in a party that doesn't represent or want him?
He also lost Labour victory in 2019 as a Labour leader and gave Torries massive majority that wreaked havoc for past 5 years so where was this establishment? Nothing against him, but why was he not able to bring victory to his party when he was the leader?
@@eweliyiOh you mean when the media falsely smeared him with a lie about a nonexistent trend of antisemitism because he had the stones to call out the fascist state of Israel before it fully took the mask off? That 2019 election?
Much better, but Sanders would’ve needed both chambers of Congress to support his legislation, Corbyn would’ve had the majority in Parliament he needed to get stuff done.
OHHHHH JEREMY CORBYN 💗 I wish him nothing but the best. One of the very few who actually genuinely care about what they’re standing for. He should’ve been our PM :(
@@zoe._.1850 The elite media such as GB News, The S*n, The Daily Fail, The Express, $ky News, The Torygraph and The Times smeared his name as they knew he would be coming after them for more business tax and rightfully so had he been elected. He didn’t stand a chance. Yet it now looks like Starmer has played an absolute blinder. Most of his policies so far are all socialist ones. He’s made it his priority to nationalise the railways and the energy companies, is on the verge of scrapping Non-Dom status, scrapping zero hour contracts, has scrapped the Rwanda plan and has finally allowed a pay-rise for NHS workers and rail workers. Many won’t be happy. There is also still a long way to go. He needs to scrap the 2 child limit for starters and urgent reforms are needed for our welfare system. It’s good to see that The New Deal scheme is being restarted for long term unemployed people who were being thrown into jobs they despise and were very poorly paid to do after the tories ended The New Deal scheme. Time will tell if his gamble is going to pay off. Renationalising services is not just needed, it’s morally the correct thing to do. The companies in charge of them are parasites.
Well deserved. As an Islington North resident, I can safely say, none of the others deserved to win as they were arrogant, didn’t give a shit about us as a constituency and there was never any doubt Corbyn would win. He was the only one who made the effort to campaign. His campaigners came to us two to three times a week. Green, Labour, Tories, Reform and Lib Dem’s simply dumped a leaflet into our block of flats and that’s it. They couldn’t even be bothered to deliver it to our doors separately. Zero respect gives you zero credibility. Corbyn deserved this. It wasn’t the shock everybody claims it was.
Whether they give you a leaflet or jump up and down outside your little caravan had nothing to do with what policies they will apply lol. pretty low IQ way of looking at things tbh:
I’m also as glad as you are that Corbyn won 👍 But in fairness to the Green lady, she didn’t really make any effort in Islington North. Also, she, the LibDem and the other independent were the only ones who were genuinely happy for Corbyn. I admit am a little jealous that you’ve actually got a decent MP who genuinely cares. But happy for you at the same time.
Im not from the UK but Corbyn said something that ill always remember. When asked by a reporter why he where talking with sinn fein. He said that we must show that talking is a option.
He’s a socialist, and socialism inherently doesn’t work and is radical. Thank God he walked out of Parliament as the biggest labour loser in history. Shame he’s an independent now though, his Ideology needs to be abandoned forever
Jeremy is a far left communist who openly supports internationally recognised terrorist organisations. (Called both Hamas and Hezbollah his "friends" back in 2011).
What, a divisive and outspoken populist Brexiteer who does nothing about antisemitism in his own party? Yeah we knew who he is for years, no need to tell us
A voice for people who aren't listened to. Thank you Corbyn, your obvious care for the common man/woman brings a tear to my eye. Know that you are truly appreciated ❤.
Even when the Tories love their propaganda slander, and rejected within his own party, Corbyn still stands strong. An inspiration for future aspiring leaders.
Israel did say some crap about beheaded babies to cover up the fact they burned Israelis alive along with Hamas personnel who would have given them back alive.
@@vp5633average keir stormtrooper fanatic. reminder the "antisemitism" corbyn was ousted for was written by the same woman who went on national news to defend israel's right to kill children, that's not even an exaggeration 😂 utter joke
Jeremy was defeated by BoJo, Starmer brought you back to power. Tell me what’s better. Playing second fiddle with your convictions, or actually ruling the country
Omg... This guy has been caught out lying in more room ways than one... Just look at his "train" campaign where he got caught setting up a situation on an empty train claiming it was full and he had to sit on the floor...
In a parallel universe, he has been our PM for 5 years - thousands of covid victims survived, education is well funded by progressive, common-sense tax policies, nobody is drowning in the Channel, the NHS is not on its knees and the U.K. has condemned the genocide in Gaza. I want to live in THAT universe.😢
I am Not from the UK that's why I am asking In that other universe, would he have condoned October 7, and what action he would have taken against those people?
By strongarming the zionist group into only attacking those who attacked it ( did they really start the attack or retaliate to decades of oppression )? and not treating children as adult terrorists, thats one way!!! @@prathamsaxena9503
Britain's cruelest misfortune was the genuine and staunch labour leader John Smith dying from a heart attack he suffered whilst walking on the beach one morning way back in about 1993ish. Which led to the ever deceitful Tony Blair hoodwinking his way into Labour leadership 🙄🙄
@@brettpilkington9539 Thats your oddity jumping to conspiracy. Noone said that. Blair was great for the country. He may have been a religious nutbar and utterly mistaken about Iraq, but things were truly better then.
In Canada, it was the premature death of NDP leader, Jack Layton. Had he become PM, no Cancervative regime under Harper and all the betrayal and divisions he went for.
@@jamesmaybrick2001WHAT?!? Look up _Downing Street Memo._ He got many UK citizens killed. He was a friend and ally of mass murdering war criminals - which led to the July terror attacks. Shake your head. 🙄

What are you on about? There’s nothing good about any of these people. Not Labour, not the tories and not an independent corbyn. What are you congratulating. More the same reckless fools who sell Brits down the river for power and money??
If you look at the victories reform has gained from dissolutioned Tory Voters, I firmly believe there's room for a party to do the same for labour voters.
@@WeazelmaniaReform spoiled the Tories, Labour leaning voters aren’t going to vote for any right wing party like Reform. Lib Dems and Greens are basically the best options for dissatisfied Labour voters.
This is a good man. I am never a Labour voter. But I sure as hell respect Jeremy Corbyn. He stands to accept his election. And he is not talking about himself. He is talking about helping the vulnerable, the sick, the weak; the poorest of the poor. THIS IS A MAN. This is a GOOD , A DECENT , A FINE HUMAN BEING.
He's a little too left for me politically but I've always liked him. I believe he's one of the few major politicians who genuinely care about every person in the country, and that he's passionate about helping people. Well done Jeremy.
Which policy exactly is “too left” for you? When I look at his policy compared to that of pro worker political leaders of 40-70 years ago, he does not look so that far left.
@@LGrianhow far left does one go before they deny genocide? Say in Bosnia, where Britain played a crucial role in stopping the Bosnian Serbs’ ethnic cleansing of Bosnia’s Muslims? Because that slice of the left is Corbyn’s alley.
@@VentureHolly I have done a frankly unnecessary amount of research on economic systems in my time, and naturally came to the conclusion that, despite its flaws, capitalism is the best one. Thus I disagree with Corbyn on his love for socialism. I have not been programmed to fear socialism, despite what you might think (at least I think that's what your near-illegible comment was saying).
labour win a massive landslide and all you guys can think about is an irrelevant seat for corbyn? you're not real left wingers that want to make laws, just perpetual oppositinists
Those who are always standing by their principles and put their benefits aside will find good people working with them and supporting them and they will not ever let them down.
Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has defeated his own former party and returned to the British Parliament as an independent candidate. His presence in the Commons is going to make mark for the people of Britain. Pakistan
