I enlisted in the British Army for three square meals and a cot, I'm of Irish decent and faced the same discrimination as the Afro Caribbeans suffered from in the UK during the 1970s early 80s with signs saying rooms to let no blacks Irish or dogs allowed and others saying jobs within no blacks or Irish need apply, it was the streets jail or the army.
Check out episode 11, where he interviewed the four Blackwater contractors involved in the Nissor Square shooting. Also check out a podcast called Raven 23. It’s a series from investigative journalists which goes into great detail and depth regarding the shooting and their resulting imprisonment. Definitely worth the time, I think it’s about 10ish episodes if I remember correctly.
I remember when the Marines if you were enlisted and did not meet their weight standard they put your ass on a diet to cut that weight or you out. If you do not pull your weight you're out. I remember when a Coke was 25 cents. My mother talked about when she could get a Coke for 5 cents. I still remember when you can get gas for 1 something. When you have to spend over 1 dollar for water something is wrong, I 100% agree with him more people need to learn to be self-reliant. When I was in boot camp, the drill Sargent went down the line assigning us a number. Either a 1 or a 2. Then he said "One's on the left side of the room, Two's on the right." It was obvious that the two's were the overweight dudes. No one was actually fat, but we were all guys who could stand to lose 10-15lbs. If you were a two, the drill sargents picked your food for you in the chow hall. I pretty much survived on chicken breast, broccoli, and water. By the end of the cycle I was lean and mean. We all were.

I have no bias against females being in the being in the unit if they can do the same job at the same rate a guy can working along with a guy with out cutting corners. Lets face it some jobs some jobs guys do better, where females do way better. You can't cut standards to meet numbers there is a guy that makes videos talking about this he is a vet and touches on this how peoples get at just to do 4 years and it is no longer a pride of serving your country for them.

Losing a parent young sucks, but I notice time and again that people start taking life serious that way. Many times it gives people something that makes them reliable and capable beyond the norm.
My ship(non Navy) pulled into the Navy base in Mayport Fl for rough tra in '98. We were required to provide or participate in security. We tied up outboard of a Navy ship and of course crossed their quarter deck to access the pier. They found out that we "carried" loaded/chambered and pitched a fit. It didn't go anywhere. I was baffled to find out that the Navy guys were on watch with unloaded firearms. Two different worlds.

I am a defense engineer I designed weapons and telemetry and more for the DoD all top secret…. And from an engineering point of view yes all of the listening and watching us through phones tablets televisions and much much more the tech does exist . I cannot say it’s being used legally or other but it’s not a mystery. I think we all know though from evidence as you all are saying lol that it’s more than likely we are being violated big time. Happy to hear Mr.Prince explaining his growing years that as much as blacks say we have white privilege our lives were not easy to get where we are - our parents made us work hard for what we have - so really we are all not much different if you have parents that instill that nothing is a given in life.
