When I was in school I was educated on Martin Luther king jr but I didnt really know who John Lewis was until his passing. What a life he lived. Congressman John Lewis please dont just rest in peace but continue to make good, neccessary trouble in heaven so that our country one day can come together without hate.

Your eloquence was like a breath of fresh air at a time of uncertainty in our country, not just with the pandemic but with the direction our country has taken.Thanks to you presidents Clinton and Bush, gentlemen of repute. You have spoken honestly about a great man who spent his youth to the time of his homegoing fighting for equality. He was a child activist who accomplished so much by peaceful means, beaten and jailed so you could become the first Black president of this great country. I remember the state of the financial institutions,the housing market, the auto industry and the plight of the American people. You rolled up your sleeves as your toured factories etc. we miss your brilliance, your leadership, the president for all Americans. Why is the public denied the traditional aspects of visiting or consoling terminal family members, attendance at their funerals or the delaying of same?. Why can't we too congregate for religious services and sing while there? The guest list says it all. Seems some are more equal than others. A befitting legacy of a man who impressed us as a divider of men.
