I'm a Democrat and I didn't agree with a lot he did while in office, but seeing him as a person after he left office, I freaking love him. He's always funny and just seems like a good guy. Just because we disagree doesn't mean I can't recognize how good of a human he is.

My grandpa worked for Ford motors company for a bit over 40 years and retired from there. He was a excellent painter of cars. Back in those days people who painted cars had be very skilled and talented. I think my mother told me he had a stroke while at work and then decided to retire other wise he would have kept working there.
My grandpa was also a World War 1 veteran. I remember my father talking about him. If I remember correctly he was in the army and was foot soldier. I think my father told me a few stores of his war days and heard him talk about it with his brothers/family

As a combat veteran who served from 1999-2006, This man will always be my president. He never forgets the men and women who went to war and we will never forget him.
I did that tour as well in Afghanistan in '03-'04. Iraq tour came in '05-'06. Looking back now, I think it was a bad decision. I'm fine with Afghanistan but it's messed up as well because it turned into a rebuilding and policing mission.
