I dont think the secret service realized at first it was gun shots and not fireworks going off. And supposedly the man was not in the crowd but on a roof top. Those democraps are doing all they can to keep him out of office, why are they so petrified of him
Secret Service only provides presidential protection around the candidates or the president. The additional security is supposed to be provided by the campaign, which the Trump campaign has regularly stiffed vendors with. But will ignore that and just keep blaming the FBI
I'm pretty sure they wanted to get the story straight before it aired, unlike some of these other news agencies who released stuff within 20 minutes claiming all sorts of stuff from Trump falling over, Trump passing out, everything but him getting shot.
This is what you get when you have these campaigns where you constantly insult and belittle your opponent. Try being adults for once. Talk about how good you are not how bad your opponent is. If you dont have anything good to say about yourself than your shouldnt be running.

The shooter shot “from outside of the venue” he was not on a roof inside the area. They did fail seeing looking around enough obviously but people make it sound like this guy was up on a roof inside the venue area.

I was in school 40 years ago and there was little attention paid to geography, and I'm sure the situation is worse now. I learned my geography from books and outside of school.

Here is what we know about the shooter. 1. He was a registered Republican. 2. He may have donated $15 when he was 17 years old to a liberal cause. 3. He commonly wore hunting gear. 4. He was heavily bullied in school. 5. He was a loaner with no social media presence. 6. He was wearing a shirt with the logo of “Demolition Ranch”, a heavily second amendment right wing influenced website. Whose founder is on video shaking hands with Donald Trump Junior. 7. The shooter used his dad’s rifle, an AR 15 assault rifle, a rifle commonly associated with people who are pro second amendment. It’s hard to say a lot, but most likely this person became disenchanted with the direction of the Republican Party, or he may have wanted to make a martyr out of Trump to permanently enshrine the concepts of MAGA which he believes are more impactful than any one man including Trump. We cannot yet say what his motivation is.
