Former USC Legend Reggie Bush Sues NCAA, Wants Heisman Trophy Back | Paper Route Clip

More than a decade after the NCAA issued extremely debilitating sanctions against USC, Reggie Bush is ready for a fight with college sports’ governing body, and get his Heisman trophy back. Bush cites a statement issued in July 2021 by the NCAA calling his playing career at USC a “pay-for-play” arrangement. That standard was cited as the reason the NCAA wouldn’t restore Bush’s records, a decision that led to Bush having to give up his Heisman Trophy.

I'm one of the biggest Notre Dame fans out there. I never once agreed with the NCAA. Give Reggie his Heisman back. He won with talent. He shouldn't have given it back.

He did get that ring tho. Brees never got another one. Reggie was the ultimate decoy and was a huge part in the Super Bowl run. Not only that his special teams ability was solid. He may not have lived up to individual hype but it wasn’t his fault. The league wasn’t ready for a Reggie Bush. Can you IMAGINE how he’d play in todays ruleset? Every RB like CMC is a clone of Reggie Bush. You could say that the Saints Excitement of that Super Bowl run laid a blueprint for what the NFL wanted to see going forward. High scores, big yards and exciting pass catching Rbs.

Paul Dee had a vendetta against SC. He was literally the AD at Miami when Luke was doing real pay for play. Nobody paid Reggie to play for SC.

Reggie deserved and earned the right for USC to back him 100%, they didn't, and let's not forget Todd McNair, that man got the biggest railroad of all. I won't go into Pat Haden and Nikias other than one word, disgust. Fight On Heisman Winner Reggie #5 Bush!!!

I disagree bruh. Many students don’t even receive scholarships, and are in college debts. Every college athlete can take out a loan to have income for the semester
