As a YG follower before, I would say that this company is good at finding talented trainees but they're also good in wasting and sometimes mismanaging them.
jv heart An example would be not giving blackpink the regular 2x comeback a year and a full album, and their contract expires in 2023....They aren’t rookie groups anymore, YG needs to make blackpink evolve in terms of musicality and artistry. Instead he basically turned them into fashion models which isn’t bad but like??? They are suppose to be a kpop idol. I remember V-Live when the girls literally said they watched Netflix all day, this means they are lacking jobs to do. YG needs to give them more opportunities to promote their artistic individualities equally.
Yeah, coz when a trainee eventually gets to make debut, they start living more comfortable lives, they're also given better dorms, and YG artists also have a 50% share from their earnings (which is the biggest out of all companies). But when you're a YG trainee, you're always training, many train right after they finished school that day, the trainers are very strict, they're very straightforward and blunt when training you, they also criticize you so bad. When you're a YG trainee, you can't just be talented and hard-working, you also have to be physically, mentally, and spiritually strong. But if you work hard enough, you're gonna be a great artist and all the training will be worth it. (NOTE: the criticisms will either discourage you or inspire you to do better. The criticisms might actually help for when you already become a YG idol. Because YG idols are always dragged by toxic and immature knetz. So by the time you debut, you'll probably be strong enough to handle these criticisms.)
YG artists do some of their own choreography. And if you actually see them live, you will realise that it’s not actually weak at all! When other people do it it seems boring, but when they do it, it’s quite breathtaking. I think that’s the charm and magic of YG!! (I’ve only seen bigbang 2ne1 and winner live before but I’m sure this applies for ikon and bp as well) When I compare them to other groups with hard choreographies I’ve seen live (not gonna name in case anyone gets triggered), the performances are much more interesting, and they make it fun not by the complexity and choreography but good execution and HYPE.
@@zohayousuf8529 That's not what they were referring to.... How can someone possibly dictate how someone else acts off stage 24/7. I thought we went over this agenda already.
OkaySad actually yes companies do make their artist act a certain way just look at Jamie she said that when she was in JYP they mostly wanted to make her imagine pure and innocent and kind but she is literally savage af(a queen) it was later when she started acting her way and now that she left JYP she said she can act how she likes and for her true self
@@inserttrashhere2122 I wasn't speaking about other groups/artists though. I know very well that it's a thing that happens in the kpop industry, I'm not denying it. I was talking about blackpink as that is who they were obviously referring to. They're the only group under yg who constantly gets accused of this even though it's been proven again and again that that's just who they simply are. My point to them, however, was that ppl just gotta accept that they're the ones in denial because when you have even their very own friends and acquaintances verifying that the way they act onscreen is just how they act offscreen(especially seen with rose & her friends) that's when they should realize that it's time to give up that scenario that is in their heads.
Been a YG stan for a long time already, but all their monthly evaluations are produced solely by themselves. So they choreograph, make arrangements and all. YG always wanted to raise self produced artists. They got help when they debut tho, but they also got skills to produce their own
They are not deserving to debut anyway, have you seen produce 48, The show where Iz*one members are selected? 2 ex Yg trainees (1 is the member of Future 2ne1 and the other is supposed to debut with bp or pinkpunk) participated bringing the name of yg. They disappoint, one even rap Jennie’s rap in one of their performance but failed.
I'm looking for the new 4th gen gg coming, those girlies better have an immense amount of talent to make it further than this group of talented women. Monster rookies I tell you.
Ahem! Cho Seoyoung has debuted in Purple Kiss. Her stage name is Ireh. They released two predebut singles and had their debut with the Title track Ponzona. Ponzona means poison in spain. Please support them! Seoyoung is the one who did a dance break btw
@@wadadaqueenactually ☝🏼🤓ponzona comes from ponzoña (I guess the team didn't have a ñ on their keyboards or don't care) and it does means poison/poisonous as well
This is the only time we are actually gonna witness this group with a hardcore choreo, when they will debut they will just be doing random cutesy arm movements
yall need to know that being an idol, you should SINGING along with dancing, no one can sing well with hardcore choreo, Ari even do simple movement but it aint perfect, she still good tho. MJ even hardly sing with his dance. and u cant deny the fact that kpop song backtrack is even bigger than their singing. Idols have lungs to, they need to control their breath.
Watching this during midnight. With no face able to shown quality, kinda freak me out. Creepy af. But of course because of their choreo and dance that full of energy and lots of hair swing give out a strong vibe. Still creepy af.
Cho Seoyoung is finally debuting under RBW entertainment as a member of Purple Kiss and she calls herself Ireh now. Each member's very talented so please support them a lot 🥰
For those who are askin for TEAM A's line up TEAM A members around 2018-2019 - Moon Sua (former)-(under Mystic Ent.) - Im Suah (former) - Kang Seojin (STILL IN YG)(fact: she's a former SM trainee) - Minah (former) - Sadaju (former) - Park Jungmin (former) - Hwang Yejin (former) They said team A had "7 bad girls"
If you want to know about them this is the girls instagram account. Give them your support. Kim Sohyun (croptop/ shorts girl): @kkkimhaenaaa Yoo Jia (blonde): @a_zia00 Lee Yejin (all black/ blackpants): @plusminus_yellow Park Yujin (long socks girl): @___j___n Park Jimin (leopard pants girl): @srh___aa Members who doesn’t have IG: Yang Chaebin (center girl at the beginning): she’s under (update: PNation) Cho Seoyoung (dance break girl): she’s under RBW Ent (MAMAMOO’s ent)-trainee with former yg trainee Lee Chaeyoung
I just heard Seoyoung is gonna debut w/ Chaeyoung under RBW. The upcoming girl group’s name is gonna be Purple Kiss, a 7-member girl group. Let’s stan them!
the reason that yg dont pick them is because they are same like the other kpop they are some over energy yg always picking those have charisma and uniqueness yg is very clever picking girls that will shine ..i just think that because mostly yg groups always shine among all kpop group. they always look dope
For you guys who said that why yg always has dope chores before debut and less dope chores after debut..... You need to understand that this is just dancing without singing, so when they debut there going to sing and dance so thats why the choreography is less hard cuz if they did a hard chores they would not allowed to sing and will be short off breath then you all will say they aren't talented... Oh god i dont understand yall, btw just saying no hate.
so you remember the fact that bp used to be a 9 members gg combination 😪 i still remember that moment waiting a video of 9 of them to be seen together but nowhere to be found
Idols show their full potential when they were trainees. I feel like when they debut they're too controlled by the company to show their fullest abilities. These girls would've made a banger group but fate will have better things in store for them I suppose.
i agreed with you, during their trainee days they shine so much, raw talents, they are eager and they are given freedom to interpret music and express themselves. they are catering to the company, the company wants to see all they've got so they are encouraged to give all out. but once they debut, it's totally a different story. they are now idols, under the scrutinizing eyes of millions of fans, seeing how kpop is so globally popular now. now you hv fans, haters, the media, the industry, the market, hundreds of staff working closely with you, your image, your art, your personal life, your career etc. so, left and right you are controlled (managed) and under contract. you are accountable for everything and will always become the target.
cho seoyoung (the one with the dance break) debuted in purple kiss under the stage name ireh,, theyre having their first cb soon on September 8th, go support her!!
If only YG knew how to manage, this group could have been the final line up for the coming debut but noooOoOo. 🙄 Also reading the comments here, good that they left tbh I hope they’re still training but with a better company that’ll treat them right.
At this point I don’t want to judge yet. I’ve seen how YG likes to let go seemingly “perfect” trainees then suddenly debuts the best ones, which are kept secret from the public. Everyone who doesn’t know this prolly isn’t a YG stan. I know we’re disappointed that we won’t get these girls in the final lineup but we haven’t exactly seen WHO is in the final lineup anyway. YG never disappoints so I’m excited for what’s to come.
Ure comment is sooo underrated. Ure right.... whatever reason it might be, yg always has had a way they announce ther ggs..... i mean f2ne1 were good dancers.... but we all knw to be at yg... having strong vocals and raps is more imp.....cos ygas nvr follow strict choreos....
@@Sosa355_ Yeah but it is still weird... Imagine forcing trainees to practice songs by Beyoncé, Jessie J, Mariah Carey only for them to debut and promote with songs sung Britney Spears or Selena Gomez. Like what? Every other company except YG showcase the dance abilities of their dance line, I get that not every song can be dance oriented but even during their dance breaks the choreography is underwhelming...
You still don't know the real reason. It's either their bad at - live vocal - charisma - stage presence - modeling - attitude And many more. Don't judge YG. Cause remember. Yg brings the BEST AMONG THE BEST. In yg even tho your the best. You need to be the best among the best. Yg make legends, you don't know what this girl's lack in and why yg didn't debute them.
Im pretty sure they know what they're doing if so they couldn't have had insanely successful groups like bigbang 2ne1 blackpink winner ikon and many more under their belt and plus this is just a piece from the puzzle this video didn't show their singing, rapping, and personality so who are we to judge from this unless of course u prefer dancers
@@CR35C3ND0 stage presence is more than dancing are you really that guaranteed to say they have stage presence based on the choreography perspective of the performance? You have to add attitude, ad libs and charisma in one performance. In fact, Bigbang has one of the most viewed performance in MAMA but they mostly don't do choreos
I love that people talk shit like "YG wasted them, they're so good, blah blah blah". Did anyone ever think that being in YG and getting the training attributed at all to how they have these skills? How do you know that they weren't just mediocre dancers before, but now they're great because they were pushed and trained hard. Not everyone can make it to debut and become a big star because then the market would be super saturated. There must be a lot more to making it to a debut group then just being able to dance, or just being a singer. It's not just something that people automatically deserve solely because they put their time in, or their effort in. We'd all be rich and famous for various things if it were like that.
Wrong. If that would be the case Jisoo from BP would be a really good dancer, but her dance is average. YG mostly picks girls that are talented and most of the girls he picked has a dance history, like Lisa.
Agatha Goodman Jisoo from BP isn’t a great dancer, but she wasn’t chosen based on her dancing abilities. She got much better though compared to if she hadn’t joined and did not receive training. It’s the same concept as singing. If you weren’t a skilled singer, you can train to be a moderate singer and one that’s better than the average person without training. This isn’t even factual, it’s an opinion. There’s not right or wrong.
@@ijustdgaf Yes, but her singing was good before she was in YG and a personality is something a company doesn't train you. I think you didn't really understand my comment, bcc I didn't say she was talentless or doesn't has a personality.
FOR EVERYONE THAT GOT CONFUSED. SHE'S ACTUALLY TRAINED TO BE A RAPPER, BUT PINK PUNK GOT CANCELED AND HERE YOU GO, BLACKPINK. LISA AND JENNIE IS ALREADY A RAPPER SO YG DECIDED TO MAKE JISOO A SINGER AT THE END. BUT IT STILL SUITS HE A LOT.
Yejin (Seoi) debut in H1KEY Seoyoung (Ireh) debut in Purple Kiss Jimin model in Pit A Pat Entertainment (Jihoon Friend) and the rest live a normal life
These group are so good. My expectation for the upcoming YGNGG is getting high. The fact that these girls didn’t debuted and left the company, the debuting GG must be super talented. I now curious!
For girls it’s always so much harder to debut than for boys, they go through the same process but girls have to always look “pretty” at doing everything whereas guys can get away with it, and only a few girls debut whereas so many boys debut. I know that boy groups make “more money” but it’s so unfair
I don’t think so, not for YG ggs. The two recent girl groups YG released are 2NE1 and BP-both of which are a global success. The pressure on them is immense because I’m sure this new girl group will also go face to face with boygroups like their seniors. So the issue here isn’t that they won’t make money, it’s really talent so that they won’t disappoint.
the real pressure happens when you belong to the same company of a big girl group like BLACKPINK & 2NE1, this YG gg is gonna' have a big gap to fill and a lot of pressure because people expect something as good as YG's older girl groups.
The girl with the solo dance break at 0:58 (Seoyoung) is now with RBW and is gonna debut with their new girl group this year. Lee Chaeyoung or "Lennie" who was a former Team A trainee in YG is also part of that group. They have a youtube channel "365 Practice" where they upload covers and vlogs if anyone is interested.
yo these girls are tough sacrifying to make their dream come true so sad they left already and i couldnt just blame yg for not debuting them, he has his reasons and he knows the potential of these trainees. being ceo of one of top entertainment agency in korea it must have been hard for him to choose the best of the best..
Yea but I mean yg debuts one of the best idols so maybe some of them lacked something! Cause yea YG is not good at taking care of there idol but once it comes to talent there the best!
the comment section talking like they are the ceo of the company. they choreographed this dance by themselves. being an idol is not focus on dance only but also stage presence and stable singing so stop complaining about yg groups have easy choreo
Other people are complaining about how YG make debut of blackpink only once a year... like... do you think they are music machines that can just make tons of music in short period of time and also making choreography and y'all complain if their song won't reach your standards? like rlly???
@@arinsgone it's because people are comparing them with other groups which is wrong because they are bigger... They are more cautious because every movement of them are being criticize... Look at their documentary... you can see that they actually experimented a lot of songs the producers made but only one can be approved and sometimes nearly not because it's either too difficult or lacking of something.
@@arinsgone Yeah , other groups do have alot of comebacks but you can see the difference between a single Blackpink comeback. The only had one Full Album , but it already became so successful. They got a PAK (Perfect All- Kill) , the first idol group to get a PAK this year , and this decade. Twice has released their 2nd full Album this year , but since the release was rushed by the management , it couldn't gain much momentum. This year we got 3 MVs and more content , we will get more in future too. If some rumors and possible hints are true , Blackpink will be releasing a deluxe album December , which includes end product of Ready for Love too. Remember when Jisoo said there will be a surprise during the year-end.
For me, YG always stick with the simple choreos whenever they debut a new group/artist (let just said after debut) but when predebut choreos is like the opposite..like you can see how this girls dance move, BP's predebut dance practice, iKON & etc. I just hope we get a chance to see them perform again with this amazing choreos..but I also don't want to burdened them.
Cherry Bomb I know right! I really wish that they do more hard choreos, but then again yg’s groups are known to really not fully focus on choreos when actually performing.
Exactly. Usually the main team don’t have their practice content leaked. People are complaining about this group not debuting but they haven’t seen Team A yet so who are they to judge.
She is going to debut as a new girl group with Mamamoos company RBW. Her her name is Cho Seoyoung they have a YT channel called "365 Practice" were they post vlogs, dance and vocal covers and other fun stuff.
Cho Seoyoung will now debut in Purple Kiss (RBW Ent, Mamamoo's little sisters) as Ireh, please support her, she's really talented, with also a former YG trainee, Lee Chaeyoung
If u watched ygtb, i think this is just a group of trainees in a team not a final lineup. This is just how they are being evaluated monthly, they are evaluated by teams (maybe team a, team b, etc.) Some members here may or may not debut because i believe that they are ranking everyone and those who are in the highest ranks will most likely to debut (kinda like pd series but inside the dungeon)
I recognize that YG and its entire team are the best in recognizing talents, if they are no longer in YG entertainment it is because they are not the best and YG is looking for originality, looking for something that impacts. In YG entertainment they are constantly evaluated, since they invest 100,000 dollars a year per traine and many benefits, and the producers want to see results from their investments, that's right, not only is YG it is a whole group of producers behind them.
Their investing 100,000 dollars per year for trainees doesn't mean that they're treating right to every of them. There are tons of reasons for that girls' leaving. You will never know and experience how unfair the music industry is hiding. So, stop judging absurdy their leaving like inability or lack of talent cause you're attacking their efforts and self-esteem by these impulsive words
I really wonder how old you are to keep that immature thought. You'd better be under twenty to easily change your innocent mind. I rarely comment, but when I read yours, I was really surprised and felt annoyed so much. You should know that, an unconscious word can kill a person by accident. Be careful!
They killed that dance they better get all love make it big because they are incredibly they definitely got talent. They amazing as a group. You girls go show world what you got.
the dance break girl's name is Cho Seoyoung. She will be debuting in PURPLE K!SS on Monday, March 15. Another ex-YG Trainee named Lee Chaeyoung will also be debuting with her in PURPLE K!SS. Please look forward to their debut!
As far as i can understand, they are actually complaining because blackpink still didn't have their full album and they don't want a new girlgroup. Well...The pinks are coming back with a full album now and i am sooo excited🙌💖
No hate to this girls but some of y’all who saying YG wasted their talent must not have watch PD48 where two of the ex-trainees, seoyoung and Jinny come on. They were way too confident and didn’t even perform well. Just because they dance good in the video, doesn’t mean that they are good in general. There are a lot of things that make or break your debut!!
Yg recruits are extremely talented no doubt but when they debut???? We will never know 😂. Yg be like "yeah we recruited them back in 2008, and they're just debuting now. Thanks for coming. It was originally supposed to be 9 members, but now its a duo 🥴🥴
But this trainees knew already the possibilities- that's why they worked hard. But you see the perks of being a trainee from YGE is that even if you did not pass their standard however if you go to other company you have a high chance of passing because everybody knew YGE has high standards you have to beat all the best trainees, you may not be the very best our of all the trainees in YG however you are already the best if you get compared from outside trainees. with the quality of training they put the trainee and without asking in return-im speechless. also the chance to debut under YG is really worth their effort and sacrifice- you see the artists that debuted under them? they benefited so much, and they are treated as an ARTIST not just an ordinary idol.
Imagine how many monthly evaluations they been through, since some of them really waitied to debut, idk why many blonks hating them and controlling YG to stop their debut. not realizing that it is the dream of every trainees to debut and they really work hard wth? Blonks?!:
