Dude, i've said it many times, but I love you. No homo! Your channel is bar none, the best on youtube. May the good Lord bless you. You're a fucking saint! Saint Bozzy :)
+TimReeve93 Actually, front tyres are around 60mm wider and the rears are around 80mm wider. About a 25% increase in size. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the benefits from having tyres of this size. The cars look fantastic this year. The wheelbase is still a bit too long(I understand the need for it though with the hybrid engine and no refueling), but other than that, the cars this year look many times better.
As always, great video. Thank you for posting this. I have one tip: it would be nice to have some static shots at key corners so we can compare the lines, braking, turning, speeds and all that stuff. If possible, of course. You are doing a great job. Greetings.
Better camera work, sound quality and editing than I've ever seen from any FIA broadcast. Good job. I do love the look and sound of these new cars too. I hope the racing is better, I'd hate to see another year of Mercedes dominance.
Massa getting out of the boxes in the start of the video was a special moment to me as a Brazilian. Glad you're back, man. Make us proud again. #gomassago
it usually begins with one video ... and here u are two hours later still watching motorsport vids ... welcome to bozzy's channel ... thanks a lot for the upload and for all ur efforts, sharing with us stuff that most of us are not able to see ... anyways, u are a good man :)
Mr World .. come on now..change the record. it's such a boring comment now... if you're at the circuit you'd be surprised just how loud they are.. but from your chair I guess it's difficult 🙄🙄🙄
It is just noise (the old v10 engines). It was stupid to watch F1 with earprotection on, and all you heard was just and only continuous scream. Now you can hear other sounds, like collisions, little bumps to the side of other car, tyres screeching. Before it was just that overly loud continuous sound. And it was overwhelming. Technology behind these mechanical masterpieces is badass, noise is just waves in the air.
Mr World I keep waiting for the growl I know Turbo V6s can make. If you want to know what I mean, then search for the 1988 F1 cars. Especially the McLaren MP4/4
Kaisuke971 Ol' Nando working his hardest to get a feel for the car before something goes wrong! Hopefully, Honda figures the issue out and McLaren-Honda has a better showing for it next time.
Superbe vidéo ! La plus belle que j'ai vu sur ce premier jour de test ! Merci infiniment, j'espère que la FOA et que Liberty Média ne vont pas kicker ton compte pour cette vidéo. Merci et continu comme ça, on adore.
Hey bozzy! I'm glad you went there! Great work! I can see those f1 clearly taking the apex much faster then before. (thanks to the new chassis and wheel width). Anyway thanks alot bozzy keep it up! :)
It is great all the cars have a DISTINCT sound! The FI sounds SO sexy. And the tyres just could not be better! And the lower/wider rear wing is magnificent. And most of all, these are (contrary to popular belief) fighters and they WILL fight. A great season ahead... :-)
We got the looks back, now for the sound. different exhaust manifold designs could give us a better sound, You won't be able to make them much louder, but the sound can be improved.
Great footage, Bozzy!👏👏 The sights and sounds are amazing! Can you imagine experiencing the massive levels of grip those cars possess? Like at 1:09 and 1:57 . Amazing stuff, bro! 👍❤
Awesome vid Bozzy you come to our time of need when we want to see these cars from a spectators point of view :) The cars are sounding better for this season however I think they do desperately need more revs to make them sounds sooo much better. Gears are too short by the sounds of it and makes the car sound like it's just droning. So I say give them another 3k revs or more haha!
Ah well, I guess the sound is ok (ever since they changed to V6), Sauber finally has a livery where your eyes won't get set on fire when looking at it like in the last years. The shark fin...mmmmmhh not too sure. Ah yes, and happy to see that Arrows is also back on the grid...
great footage Bozzy. And thanks for sharing the equipement you use. I love your channel and would love to emulate a US version someday: A little bit of everything car related
I know many people complain about F1 nowadays, but by seeing this video I think it's not that bad. Honestly, yeah I do miss the high revs and high pitch V10-V8 era and when I heard the sound of the F1 in the 2015 and 2016 it kinda letdown. But from this video the sound of the car I think it's kinda better right now and of course that grip on the corners, man they're really stick to the road haha and the fact that this car still can produce the high speed 330-ish kph is just awesome with all the hybrid prototype engines. I've seen many of 19Bozzy92 video about pure sport cars sound and it was awesome, and this video is a proof of it, thanx for uploading the test day video, I've been searching for the better quality video all days haha, and you just earned a sub dude, keep up the good work, hopefully you upload some more from this F1 2017 test day at the catalan. PS. that red scarlet Ferrari are gorgeous and from the news I've heard they were also fast, hopefully this season will be the better season for them. Grazie #forzaferrari #wordsfromatifosi :D
Exactly how am I In my barn? You are kidding yourself if you believe all that PR nonsense. I don't believe having a insanely expensive system that only the big manufacterer teams can afford for so long is "Pushing technology".
you be right with the grip is amazing you just need to have the feeling to inspire the grip by watching these gorgeous drivings so you can imaging without driving by jourself
The cars look really good and I remember in 2013 I went to Barcelona for those first-official practice sessions and those V8 sounded almighty, I spent there more than 2 hours and my ears were starting to hurt a little. What an experience but progress is progress
Thanks for making this video. F1 is really dropping the ball by not offering any highlight videos. "Here, either watch it live, or sift through the FIFTEEN HOUR video from yesterday." GTFO. Great job with this video!
Not gonna lie, they actually don't sound that bad. I've never really been an F1 fan, but I wouldn't mind following this season just based on what I've heard from die-hard fans about how certain restrictions have been lifted and the how the cars themselves look more aggressive.
These cars will generate more drag due to the new aero body (I think), the body height is lower and the wider tires will provide more grip due to increased surface area... Will allow these cars to take these corners significantly faster.
Sick cars but the sound was what keep me interested when I was a kid and now I just can't bear with it. However that "woosh" @ 1:52 sounded like very futuristic and almost like a jet plane, so badass!
