All the cars came out onto Whitehall at the end of the session, incredible noise. Well done to all the Formula 1 teams for putting on a great show for the fans.
@@X25_Networking The MP4/6 and MP4/6B are McLaren's models from the 1991 season and two early 1992 F1 races respectively. Conductors: Ayrton Senna and ... Engine: Honda RA121E V12 aspirated (MP4/6); ... Wheelbase: 2974mm Weight: 505kg
@@X25_Networking No this is the MP4/6 which is in fact V12-powered. You're correct the MP4/5 is V10-powered, but if you can't tell by the sound in the video, (which the V12 sounds alot 'smoother' and the V10 has a very destinct growl to it) the most noticeable design-change from 4/5 to 4/6, is the much lager side-pods on the MP4/6.
That oldest yellow car, the Renault Turbo, one of the first turbo cars, a pioneer and a testbed for things to come in the late 70s. So small compared to the current cars, a thing of legend, fondly remembering the Gilles Villneuve vs Rene Arnoux battle.
É de emocionar. Todos são lindos... mas quando a McLaren aparece e vc pensa que aquele foi o carro de Senna todos os outros ficam em segundo plano... O mais marcante
I like how most teams are using their v6 because they don't want to wreck the old cars then there is Red Bull and mclaren who is just there to put on a show for the people
@@surrealtom1437 tbh i disagree, they've only resembled vacuum cleaners in 2014 and some of the cars in 2015. the merc v6s since 2016 have also been noticably louder than the rest, but yeah they still sound meh compared to the old engines.
Eso están en duda. Hay un viejo auto inglés de F1. Creo que tiene 16 cilindro en V. Su sonido es increíble también. Ahora el HONDA es grande no por el auto en si. Si no por el gran piloto que estaba el volante. Saludos
@@80sf1fan2 Formula E is not a patch on F1 electric vehicles while good are not the same it's not just the speed what makes a car any car is the sound which is the soul I heard a mustang v8 go past me the other day myself and everyone looked it shook the ground fantastic it stirs you're soul and manufactures and government are missing the point long live petrol
@@stevewalsh-balshaw1727 yeah and about 75% of the population doesn’t care about what a vehicle does other than the fact that it takes someone from one place to another. Governments don’t care about the niche love of noise
@@gavcom4060 That may be true that they don't care however we supposedly live in a free democratic country so it matters what the 25% think thank god we don't live in a dictate state. ...well so far....as for myself I do like the sound and mechanical engineering of petrol vehicles and so do a lot of people each to their own and we're all the better for it.
2:20 the older cars are just pure awesome, whats even more funny, is a new hybrid was doing a burnout infront of the cam and i couldnt even hear it lol
Quando vi um pedaço da frente da McLaren de Senna, eu me arrepiei inteiro, quando saiu acelerando arrepiei novamente, o carro lendário! O piloto lendário! Um carro e um piloto que vão ficar para a história.
The redbull sounds great but the Mclaren is on another level and also looks way nicer. They perfectly know people still want those screaming engines that give you goosebumps, just anothre thing compared to nowadays engines.
After spending 2011 traveling the world, all centered around the F1 Schedule, with those glorious V10's screaming at 20,000 RPM in front of me was a dream come true. The modern Power Units work for today's focus on sustainability and eco conscious interests are at the forefront. But, there is nothing that can compare to the violent assault the V10 era provided. I say, bring them back, and more fans will attend, in droves. This is about flat out racing, forget about being politically or environmentally correct, just perform for the asset that is most valuable, the fans of F1.
