Formula Supra Ducting 

I gotta say, out of the thousands of custom cars I have seen on the internet and in real life, the Formula Supra is the only one I could really 100% consider a dream car. There is literally nothing on the entire car I would ever change, just pure perfection from start to finish.

My favorite part of this series after bringing the car back to the East Coast is the amount of shoutouts & support you have given to several small shops that produce incredible work. A lot of guys tend to let that go unseen so it means a lot for you to show appreciation to everyone that is involved. Keep up the great work.

The level of craftsmanship on the Supra is on another level! What a awe inspiring machine!

This vehicle needs more love and attention. I've watched every episode. The videography is killer, the interaction and explanation of the build process from the California start with all the different vendors to now in New Hampshire is in laymen's term, and in greater detail than any build you will find out there. (Don't forget the mid covid trip to Britian to visit Judd Engines) And to boot Ryan is in every video. Unfucking real this build, and the car only continues to get better! Pisses me off click bait lambo in the title gets a million views. We need to show Ryan and his sponsors the love! Keep it up Ryan!

Make a system to stop you starting the engine with the oil feed valve closed, a bit like what the do on aircraft… some sort of pin with a big ‘do not start’ tag that will stop you starting the engine when its in the off position. Could be a bit complicated using a Bowden cable to open and close the valve from inside the car then a lock out for the starter?

I make Himes joints for a living and that style we literally call them “race car size 12 or 10 even size 8 a lot of race teams buy them for circle track racing. We stake the ball and insert together turn it into a bearing almost grind it to size to be able to stake them into the housing making sure it’s centered. Sometimes they ask us to loosen them to a certain torque specs.

Always great to watch true craftsman who are passionate about their work and the quality they put out. EPIC fabrication!!

An ‘S’ bend in the scavenge pump common discharge tube running vertically up and down the firewall, with the inside radius of the tube at the correct height you want to maintain engine oil level would prevent the need to crawl under the car and close that valve

Seen this car today at Lime Rock it sounds so sick!

I think it would be slick to weld a fitting on the side of the oil tank that has a small hose coming off of it with a quick disconnect and then the other side has hose up to a funnel instead of trying to pour it from the bottle up inside the dash. Amazing car and great work 🙏

@ryantureck . Could a rock or debris hit the lever on the ball valve shutting it off or partially closing the valve? Do you have a fail safe or a different lever on the valve maybe a round handle.

is water a concern for where the intake filters are located? what if the track is wet?

i think you need some sort of micro switch to prevent the engine starting until the valve is opened also it shouldn't to hard to hook it up to a cable to open an close it from the inside of the car it'd also be a safety thing should the car be crashed ..... very cool Ryan but having to crawl under to turn the valve on an off is begging for mistakes to be made and kinda halfassed .....

Having to reach under the car every time you want to start or stop the engine is ridiculous. Is the problem that the pressure pump leaks internally? Why not just run the feed line up above the static oil level then back down? Oil Tank ___/\___Oil Pump Or get a sprung valve that has a minimum pressure to open like 3 psi so that gravity alone can't push through. Probably as easy as getting a 12 or 16AN one way valve and maybe getting a heavier spring.
