Join us for our first visit to the beautiful Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Terminal 1, in Broward County Florida! This airport is gorgeous and has so many options for entertainment, shopping, and food. Although we only explored Terminal 1, we were so impressed and are looking forward to coming back to this airport when we are ready to cruise out of Fort Lauderdale (or Miami if the price is right) next!

Oh, I also wanted to say, when my parents and I lived in South Florida, we flew out of this airport in 1993 and 1995 respectively, both times to Bethlehem, PA to visit relatives. I hardly recognize the airport now. All I can say is, I don’t think it had many restaurants or shops (if any) back then.

Traffic there is terrible not my favorite airport.But it doesn't appear to be too crowded when you were there.

Thanks for commenting! Traffic when we arrived was pretty crazy but I feel like that’s every arrivals section of any airport. Good to know that traffic can be a problem for folks though!
