Fire officials say favourable weather conditions were expected in the area of Fort Nelson, B.C., on Tuesday as the Parker Lake wildfire continues to grow just south of town. Nera Maaser, an evacuee and pastor, says the evacuation has ‘put a lot of pressure on the elderly.’
