Exploring the ruins of Fort Zorndorf, now known as Fort Sarbinowo in Poland. Built between 1893 and and 1889 by the Prussians as one of four other defensive forts of the Fort Küstrin, it was already outdated by the time it was completed. The Fort Zorndorf served as a prisoner of war camp during the first world war and as a munitions factory during the second world war. After the territory was given to Poland after 1945, all german names were replaced, and the fort was renamed to Fort Sarbinowo. The polish military used the fort up until the early 1990s until it was decommissioned. It is currently an abandoned ruin.
