Yeah Midas really is a step in the right direction as we need old characters back. I mean chaos agent in the season 3 trailer might be another good sign.
@@RipplyAnemone67i say chaos agent was kidnapped by Gunnar AKA Megalo Don and since Chaos Agent knows all about fluids like how’s he’s made of black goo, how he owned slurp, steamy stacks (the purple water from Kevin the Cube), it all makes since if he knows where Nitro was and since he was held hostage, he had to tell Megalo Don in order to be freed.
I'm really glad Epic decided to listen and started giving us mini events, but they really should bring back those 11 minute live events. The ones that were REALLY worth the wait. The last one of those we had that was good and tied into the story was Collision. The Big Bang was story related until it became a giant ad, and Fracture was a 40 minute period of walking around on islands in space while doing side quests 💀. I feel like Epic gave up on events after everyone hated Fracture.
@@peeteepeetplays Personally, I think it's more so just that a) During Chapter 4 we had no CCO, as far as I understand it, Donald retired in C3 S3 and Charlie Wen started in C5 S1, leaving that entire period leaderless/ with some kind of substitute leader. This probably means no one was around to really take care of the storyline or whoever was running the show was focusing on making good gameplay than story. b) Since Live Events typically garner a lot of attention to the game, Epic wanted to utilize them to prepare us/ reveal to us their important plans for the future of the game. (The Metaverse) Fracture was a Social Event meant to give us a taste of the 'glory' this Metaverse would bring and make us enter a New Era of Fortnite with UEFN coming out in C4 S1. (It got delayed but they didn't know that at the time) Similarly, the Big Bang revealed to us Fortnite's brand new game modes to REALLY usher in a New Era of Fortnite. The good news is though, that with all the Metaverse modes and content properly out now (UEFN and New Modes), and with a New CCO behind the wheel of the storyline, there's nothing really stopping Epic from making another Full blown Storyline Event. However, I doubt they'll be able to make them as often as they used to since they've got people working on making content for *5* Modes now...
Guess so, although not as much as we did before. I’ll take it over chapter 4. We got voice acting, mini events rather than big ones between seasons (saving it for chapter finale) and mixing new and old character/plot. Although not as much map changes
This Chapter has been oddly fun, story wise. This is the only Chapter that I've been playing since season 1, but I find it funny how it went from "Two sisters at war" or something to "kill god" in Season 2
@@gamingnerd0348 yeah the story was alright, things just didn’t go smoothly imo. like idrk how zeus striking the chest caused megalo don and all that to come to the island, i feel like the storyline didn’t fit together well
@@Galaxy_1432 My best guess is that the chest being struck open brought Megalo Don's ship off course due to the storm clouds. But, my head cannon is Megalo Don fell asleep at the helm
Just thought I would say this but hades isn’t actually evil as some might think. According to real Greek mythology, Hades was actually a passive character and not some evil overlord of the underworld. His whole role was to make sure the souls in the underworld would stay there and never get out as well as keeping the universe in balance. In truth, Zeus is actually shown to be more antagonistic than hades but not a villain. This is why it makes sense that hades would help us fight Zeus.
Magneto's plan seems to have come in two stages. First was to cause chaos, or at least more/about the same as everyone else in the wasteland. This leads him to opening the bunker to free Weapon X, likely because 1. He knows he's a mutant and Magento's goals are always to free his fellow mutants from harm, and 2. because he knows Wolverine can/will cause chaos in his disheveled and crazed state after being experimented on. It's also possible since his loading screen mentioned seeing something WITHIN Weapon X that he plans to use the adamantium in his body, but there's not much evidence of his doing anything with it or taking it out of him in Fortnite. After freeing Weapon X and causing chaos (both to keep attention away from him and keep with the overall action on the island this season) Magneto can begin planting his panels of dubious origin and purpose. If I had to guess, this is to either contact Dr. Doom or some other force in the Marvel Universe or to bring Magneto's Asteroid M (or a little part of it) as a new loot island for the next season, keeping with the rumored Marvel theme. I could also see it just bringing back the old POIs, possibly to then connect to the final season this year OG Chapter 2.
If there’s anyone who can save fortnite, it’s Adamaru. These videos make seasons feel like they have actual life in a sense. Been watching since chapter 1 and these videos just feel so official. Especially since they’re coming from someone who’s been at it since the beginning. Good to have you back, Adamaru. ❤️
It’s hard to be excited about the Wanderer, Meglo Don’s Leviathan or What Midas and Ghost are up to, when you know this all has to lead to a total unrelated Marvel Collab.
Wooooo!!! I’ve been constantly checking to see if you uploaded anything on this season. We missed you!!!!! You’re the only person I get my Fortnite lore from 🧙🏼♂️
Why did everyone forget about the battle pass interactivity, now we just pick a stuff and thats it. But back in chapter 2 season 2 there was multiple things u can do in battle pass screen
The haters? You mean the criticisers? Criticism and hate are two different things. You can't deny that the game has been going downhill ever since the Metaverse.
@@HasnaynKamran-hl5vz Hate and Criticism are indeed two different things, but in my opinion the majority of negative talk regarding the game is hate, not criticism.
Bummer this had to be the season you took a break from. I know it's been pretty divisive, but I'm on the side that this is the most fun I've had in Fortnite since chapter 2, personally speaking. Hell of a season. Gonna be sad to see it go.
Listening to the story like this, chapter 5’s story isn’t bad but it just feels so bad when you hear what it could’ve been with Donald Mustard. They basically fired him to pave the way for the metaverse (which failed miserably) and now the old story with Geno and the Imagined order running the loop is gone, all because of corporate greed (Tim Sweeney)
I miss The Seven and the IO, they seem to add a whole new character list and story completely different from the last both in chapter 4 and chapter 5. But from chapter 1-3 it was mainly about Jonesy, The IO, and The Seven.
So actually, this isn’t correct, he wasn’t fired, there’s no evidence to suggest he was fired, and in fact, there’s pretty direct evidence to suggest that Donald Mustard actually wanted this. Corporate greed is undoubtedly a problem with Epic, but we can’t just immediately absolve Donald of all blame here when he’s stated in the past that he wanted this.
After everything that has happened I have a theory, at this point not too much supports that theory but do hear me out. I believe Pandora's Box is connected somehow to the Zero Point. Yes I know we supposedly destroyed the Zero Point back in the OG season. But something as powerful as the Big Bang can't have been that easy to get rid of. More so I believe we shattered it and its shattered remains came back together in a crystalized form which became the crystal orb that was a Part of the Box and is now shattered again into 4 smaller orbs. 1st hint of this is where we found Pandora's Box to begin with. It was buried underground dead center of the island. What else has always been in that same spot on the island? The Zero Point. Second is what the Box can do, it brought in other realities into this one and fused them onto the Island. That sounds like something the Zero Point could do as well. And finally as far as we could tell the Zero Point was alive to an extent. It would always do what it could to ensure its own survival. What if the Oracle is somehow a part of this new Zero Point, or is something that can use this new Zero Point to communicate with us. My theory is the old storyline is not abandoned or gone, but the writers needed time to flesh out the next part in all of it now that Donald Mustard has retired. I wonder if the Wanderer is connected to the Shadow Man spoken of back in C4S1 and maybe the Oracle is actually AMIE. There isn't really much to support all of this but I have a strong feeling we're going to see soon enough some of the Old Fortnite Story come back into play soon.
fun fact: zeus wasn't mad at humans for freeing midas, he was mad at human for opening pandora's box after explicitly telling them to never open it after the box was opened zeus sent the gods to wipe out the society organization and thats how the society fell, they were wiped out by the gods for opening the box
I have a theory that since the OG season came and we went back in time (because when you change the past, the future changes) maybe this isn't after the OG season but after "Season X" and we're technically on the Chapter 2 island since we went back and changed so many things. 1. Wolverine reset and is now Weapon X and since season 4 is coming up that can help kick start the old marvel season from Chapter 2. 2. The new threat on the Ch. 5 island was The Society vs The Underground but originally it was Alter vs Ego or Ghost vs Shadow which means that whatever we did in the past changed the factions' reason to form/fight. 3. There's a new shark on the island but instead of "the shark" it's the megalodon, and Midas got reset as well since he technically got retconned meaning that whatever happened to Midas never happened and the greek story is the only thing we can really go off of. 4. And now technically the story is only based on Chapter 5 because since we time travelled in the OG season and changed things in the past, we don't know what actually happened and changed in the future. Basically we always had the OG storyline and since Donald Mustard left they deleted it by doing the OG time-travel and now we have a new storyline so now in the fortnite universe the old one doesn't exist anymore.
The "Doom" constellation looks like the eye shape of Thanos' helmet in the marvel comics, and the Wanderer looks like God Emperor Doom, who killed Thanos. This version of Doom combined the remains of the universe into Battleworld. Sounds like it's coming to fortnite.
Also, after looking into it more, Doom's wife's name is VALERIA. And in different comics, Magneto kills Doom's family, including Valeria. I think Magneto is on the run from God Emperor Doom and he activated the beacons to try to rift in help.
Initially I always assumed The Wander was Geno, but when you brought up Dr. Doom possibly being the Wanderer, it made sense in a way, especially when you look at one of the few times Dr. Doom wore white: God Emperor Doom when he ruled over the amalgamated universe known as Battleworld. If Doom is indeed The Wanderer, then we can have a good idea as to what the Fortnite Season is going to look like if that version of Doom shows up. Fortnite: Battleworld. And instead of 616, we could be greeted by alternate versions of characters from across the multiverse such as X-Men form X-Men '96 or Captain Carter from Universe-86315(What-If), or characters who aren't initially from 616 such as Gwenpool. They probably won't go that crazy, but it's not impossible.
Bro the fact the its very likely that Dr Doom COULD come back as a key character in fortnite seeing the marvel announcement recently about his return as Robert Downey Junior it wouldnt be far fetched
Im surprised no one is mentioning the fact that Hope seems to get slighty corrupted with every gem we gave her, as if the power of the box was influencing her mind, its pretty clear in her dialogues but I've seen no videos of anyone mentiong it.
