Fortnite Season 2 Map Updates and Secrets - Week 1 

on the “volcano” mountain, there is an npc called Nox that tells you to stay away from a terminal. the npc doesn’t even go into the collections tab

I've been playing Fortnite a long time, and this is hands down the most beautiful map I've ever played on. I've been blown away all day with all the new stuff.

The pillars might hold the wardens possibly it seems to be remnants of the medieval reality of the Ageless, Stellan Sylvie and Kieran

I will admit. As someone who loves Evie, I am so glad that Epic gave her a voice actor and sided us with the Peace Syndicate! Thunder is a cool dude as well, and man he is so smooth. Me and him are going to get along just fine as the season progresses.

Guessing the reason why Faulty Splits got crushed was because of the cipher quests. One of them said to spray at the bowling alley, maybe that was their way of marking a spot to land mega city

I miss faulty, anyone else? Many people think it was bad but I personally loved it as it was one the of the only modern pois.

I have two theories for that monolith place 1. It's to do with the river tribe that the tier 100 of this season is the empress of as it's called the Marine Monolith 2. The NPC who we don't have a skin of says to beware of a terminal or don't investigate it and it could be that

If you claim the rift island by the flag post, you can claim a mythic gun that not many people think about

3 random tidbits I found interesting: 1.) The gongs scattered around the Japanese themed areas are functional, which is pretty cool. The drums are, too. 2.) The water in the ponds at Steamy Springs will heal you very slowly when in it. Good if healing items are in short supply. 3.) There's a mysterious new NPC named Triarch Nox. Idk if he's only found in one spot or if he spawns randomly around the map every match. I found him at Lonely Labs earlier. He seems to be connected to The Last Reality, as well.

btw in one of the new landmarks you can find a lake with 2 huts, 1 with the neurolynx npc and 1 with the Nothing npc and his real name is something like Triach Nox i think. probably worth mentioning in your next map change vid

4:01 so try aligning the pillars to the map cause they are a hexagon and that shape have been recurring in major events in fortnite.

The pillars might have something to do with the River Guardians (Mizuki’s faction)

Don’t worry bill and ted can be found as a random rift encounter they’ve somehow found their way back onto the islands perhaps they have a portal device like john jones 😊

In chapter 1 season 10 there was a machine opening rifts, in season 1 we opened a rift via the rift gate in chapter 1 season 9 there was a futuristic city now there is one in season 2 and in chapter 1 season 8 there was a volcano… it might be inverted

There’s an npc on the map in the lower right hand corner of the map and he’s one of the skins people were speculating was the physical form of the nothing. He doesn’t register in the npc dex and give’s ominous quotes when interacting

The coral buddies are back in the water by the neo Japan biome, just beyond the bridge on a bowie they also have a conch shell. They also sit under a rock on a iceberg

Idea: so what happens when you are in the exact spot where the lootlake island spawns in as the rift begins to open, do you splat? or do you just get pushed out of the way?

There's a secret NPC who spawns randomly on the island, most common place to find it are the Ice Labs & near the house where Lynx spawns

The Nothing has made it to the map as well. I talked to him but he wasn’t listed as an NPC which was interesting. I believe he was in the southern part of the map next to Lynx.

Just so everyone knows many npcs get rifted into the map and the misfits are still here!! The bro-mance io guard robot alien and default with 7 helmet can spawn together in a boot camp I love it!

I have a small theory that might not mean anything, but it is something i've been wondering, which is "Why is the loot lake house always coming back?". So since before the season started we've know that the "Shapeless Man"/Geno wanted control over the rift gate, which lead to the rift in the sky last season and everything we've seen in this new season, so why is the loot lake house back? before it could've just been because of the zero point, but now Geno had control of the rift for a limited time and chose to bring it back. It's a little bit messy and I might've gotten some stuff wrong, but I think that the loot lake house has some level of importance to the Shapeless Man/Geno
