Personally I think like once a year you should get to continue or just start a past battle pass( I pretty much have most of the things people want but I never got super styles and that stuff)
But Skins like Darth Vader chould cost alone 70 dollars because he was The tier 100 skin. Becase The owner had to eather grind to there or just buy tiers with that Price.
I'm kind of a noob, because I joined the game in Chapter 4 Season 4. Meaning I only have 2 Icon Skins, one GLS skin, and one Marvel skin. I literally was not able to play in the earlier chapters because I didn't have the money for an xbox and there were certain games I could and could not play, when I was 7 or 8, when fortnite came out, I was not allowed to play for years to come, so Epic Games cannot use the excuse with, you didn't play then so that's your problem. There are people who don't have the money, don't have the time, or didnt surpass the age limit. Now tha I finally have my hands on this game, I get sad a lot that I will never be able to earn characters like Rick Sanchez, Indiana Jones, Spider Man, Darth Vader, or even Dr Strange. It is devastating for me and other newbies who really want to unlock skins like Spider Man but just can't all because I didn't play earlier. I mean some kid in 2028 is going to hop on Fortnit because they finally are old enough to play, only to find out their favorite skin, Indiana Jones is in the game from a past battle pass, and is just extremely bummed out. So my solution is when a new season starts, you can buy the new pass for 950 v Bucks or you can do a different, old pass for double. And the more og passes like chapter 1 passes could be sold for actual money. Fortnite won't see it but they will make a lot of money. Even if they don't make more, a good game company doesn't only care about making money, they should also care about making the people who buy their game happy and want to play. Draining people's wallets so they can buy a current pass before time is over isn't right, the people might not have enough time or money and cant buy it. I could keep writing but I am going to stop it here because I know I'm going to get comments saying I wrote a whole essay in a single comment, but fortnite really does need to fix their serious problem if the game is going to stay popular long-term
Like many people pointed out it would cut account selling. And to add Fortnite is no longer just a BR it’s an expanding platform. New or returning players will find they can’t rock skins like Iron Man or Fortnite originals like Carbide. A while back I would want to have old BP skins to stay exclusive. But now it’s different. We’re seeing games like Halo Infinite and Destiny 2 bringing back old BP cosmetics or just entire BP entirely for players to purchase.
Would be cool to pick a battle pass from the past to work on with the current battle pass simultaneously but still have to pay for both battle pass’s as an option
Screw rarity literally nobody cares about your “rare” Fortnite skins they are literally pixels on a screen. Exclusivity just ends up with all these 9 year olds complaining about their “rare” pixels on a screen coming back like its the end of the world
When it comes to the Old orignal battle pass skins, it won't matter much since Epic games can make reskin versions of them. But when it comes to Collab battle pass skins, it's tough. Do to legal issues, Epic games won't able bring back battle pass collab skins and won't make reskin versions of them unless IP's franchise company allow them to do it. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is.
i believe that from the season you first played in you can start to get any battlepass from that season foward and also i do want old battlepasses back so i can get the toys
I agree for let old battlepasses return, i say this as owner of all ch1 battlepasses. I highly doubt it that this will happen soon, maybe if important fortnite streamers start to complain about that, we can see something, until there, we have to accept that old stuff are locked for ever.
i heard about a guy suggesting about adding an OFFICIAL market place to fortnite, where you could trade skins or buy skins with v bucks, imo it could work pretty well, most of the skins i missed aren't that old or popular, that also could stop account selling too
They should bring them back if you played during that season or the season before and if you did play during that season you could get exclusive edit styles
I missed out on S2/S3 because I thought Fortnite would die fast, I missed out on all seasons in 2019 because I thought the game would die soon, I missed Marvel season because of iOS ban, and all chapter 4 seasons because I was too busy
I think they should only bring back passes to people who played during that season, because they still put in time but might’ve not had the money at the time. They would lock away that season’s super styles so the “OGs” still have something to rejoice about. What do you think?
I would be happy with this, and this is the most likely thing to happen. I'm still super upset that I didn't buy the Battle Pass in the Marvel season because I didn't know how it worked, even though I got I think above level 50. I had the Battle Pass in the 2 seasons prior, but I just thought that they just randomly gave you a cosmetic sometimes, idk.
I remember only making it to tier 46 in season 4 because of how much I used to suck at the game. I didn't feel like grinding the game as much as I do now but I wish I could be given a second chance.

If they wanted to make more money! Sell the battle pass skin. People wouldn't be selling account !People who missed out because of medical problems and new players could get them. It will never happen because Epic games doesn't care about players. They only want your money. But they would make more money on OG Skins!

i got my first battle pass in season 5 the a made a new acc in chapter 2 season 8 i think anybody who bought the battle deserves to have a rare item if they bought a rare item

There has been so many videos on this lately. I think its fine for ppl who owned the bp but didnt finish it. But for new gens idk. Thats why they already have reskins and recolors of pervious season skins. Like summer drift or the female tier 100s like red knight

Fr, I only got to like tier 31 on C1S2 cause I quit mid way through the season so I never got Black Knight. Its kinda annoying sometimes but It's just life. People just need to suck it up and move on. They will forget about it when they grow up.
Why do you care if some pixels are exclusive? It’s not like epic would be giving away those cosmetics for free, You would still have those skins and the only benefit of them being exclusive is that you get a sense of importance inside of a video game.
