You just became my favorite 3d printer content creator. Thank you for all of your hard work

You didn't just help me build my Trident, you did ALL the legwork, the tedious stuff and everything thats hard about building. I feel like i genuinely should pay you for doing so much work, you deserve a ton of appreciation

Burnout happens, just glad you're still with us. These printers are great bases for us to work from or use as is. My Ender 3 Max is about as Maxed as I can make it, and I really wish it was Core xy so I'll be building one of your printers for my next printer for sure. I've rebuilt my Ender enough times I'm confident I'll be able to handle a ground up build now. Just take your time and make them how you want them, not to meet a deadline. ^,.'.,^

Don’t burn yourself out, Rolo. We can wait. Thanks for all the awesome designs you and (now) the design team have given us.

This looks awesome! Take your time on finishing this and take as many breaks as you feel like. I look forward to the release but we already have plenty of printers to build with the Rook kits being released and Rook 2020/etc. 🙂

Really awesome printer! 😁 I have a question, can you please take it easy. I mean, if you rush things and especially multiple projects at once, that's never good. Your (mental)health is much more important than those printers.

Hey Rolohaun, I am unfamiliar with the slicer that you mentioned in a different video- Orca-Slicer. Could you explain the benefits of Orca-Slicer? I currently use Prusa-Slicer I may switch if I am convinced. I love watching you progress from SimpleCube/core to Fortress with the belted Z concept and the Rook kits.
@Rolohaun
@Rolohaun Год назад
Thank you!, Orca slicer has a feature to allow you to see the klipper web interface right from the slicer. I find the interface fast and easy to use. It also has all the good calibration tools built it to tune pressure advance and such

I am switching to Klipper so maybe I will give it a try. Thank you! Cheers!

Nice but: need to route that stepper wire through bottom panel instead of around extrusion 2 Love the braces but looks hard to enclose 3) really prefer separate steppers on 3 lead screws. ( Micron? )
@Rolohaun
@Rolohaun Год назад
the panels are not done, I will be routing wires the enclosure uses printed panels so not too bad to do 3 steppers have pros and cons, with a 3 stepper system you always rely on the accuracy of your probe, no probe needed here

@@Rolohaun Yeah, i guess with small bed no need for fancy tramming. my merc springs hardly ever get adjusted.

Thanks for sharing. Why do you think the spider 3 hotend is crappy?
@Rolohaun
@Rolohaun Год назад
it's 100 dollars and a normal heater cartridge hotend. You can buy much better circular ceramic hotends from Trianglelabs for 55 bucks or even better a genuine bambu x1 hotend for 30. I am going to be using the bambu hotend in my custom printers now, cheap and easy to get.

What is the print speed of the room and the fortress?
@Rolohaun
@Rolohaun Год назад
165x165, speed should be 200mm/s plus and 10k accel plus, depends on the parts

Make a brake!! Take a Pause and enjoy what you started. For example Discord, RU-vid or make a cut for a time. Because i'm burnout and stay sick at home for over 3 years and it is NOT funny! So please if you feel powerless take a brake or you brake! Great Power need good sleep and Joy 😄😁😄😁😄
