I’m building a 1400whp+ Z so I just felt a little safer going with a spring now than a “bag” with that type of power and at high speeds. Never had 1 issue with my airlift performance suspension tho, it was solid also.

OEM paint, it’s San Marino blue. BW5 is the color code

I did hours of research on this and have yet to read or see someone break through their shock tower on their 350z. I guess the G35 and 350z don’t need any added stress supports when running true rear style coilovers like BMW’s would. Although I do have my cage so that’ll help it if needed. I appreciate your input on this tho 🙏🏼 Let’s hope I don’t hit a bump and fly in the air and be the first one to do it 😂 You have a SOLID set up too 👌🏼 Those SPL spring buckets are not cheap. I’ll be getting SPL billet toe arms soon too to replace that OEM bucket. I had true rear coilovers on my g35 coupe for 2 years and I loved them. They’re easy to work with. We’ll see if I like them on the Z and see how they feel if I notice it since the whole car is gunna feel completely different when it’s up and running again.

I set it to what Fortune Auto recommends for my coilovers and springs. I’m not sure with other coilovers tho. I’d give them a call to make sure

What kind of noise is it?

@@lildavidgarcia light clunk over sharp speed bumps. Strict rules here in NZ and passed all inspections so idk what it is.. I have the separate oem style though to pass these inspections.

@@currarwhitham-field5213 hmmm, is your preload set right? That could be the cause of that clunking sound. If not, then it could be a defected set of coilovers.

@@lildavidgarcia been planning on getting the guys who installed to recheck everything and have messaged Fortune Auto, hopefully get some answers haha

@@lildavidgarcia so recheck turns out because I have the divorced spring style rear (easier to pass the strict certification here in NZ) and the certification also states that Camber must be within 1.5 degrees of stock the lower arm is pulled in bringing the spring just sliiiightly against the thread inside because i have the swift spring upgrage which has a smaller ID. Not unsafe just sounds bad. Fortune Auto are sending out their standard springs for the rears so this won't happen though.
