The Maxima would of been a better nismo platform. The normal stock Maxima has a 300 horsepower 3.5 liter v6. Imagine a 400 horsepower Maxima instead of a 188 horsepower Sentra

I think they didn't Nismo the Maxima just yet because Nissan/Infiniti already have the Q50 Red Sport 400. But I wish they add a regular automatic instead of the CVT and an AWD system like the 2019 Altima.

I honestly don’t dislike the Sentra Nismo. Low power, low (today’s standards) weight, manual gearbox, more fun in real life. Ring it out around town and don’t go to jail for reckless driving.

I turbocharged my 2002 ford escort sedan and has 214 horsepower and the speedometer doesn’t go high enough. I estimate around 135 to 140 mph, the last time I pushed it

A sentra NISMO starts at 25k. 30k fully built.^ Also the car has a 188hp 1.6 4 cyl engine I do think it might be similar to the 1.6 used on the Renault Clio.

The Sentra always came in a manual. And it the old Se-r was a valuable track car, it came with a sr20 blacktop and a lot of people layed down good lap times with them.

The Sentra nismo is here in 2018 because in the 90's the Sentra had a upgrade package making it the Sentra SE-R and it was an amazing FWD rally car

Nissan is known for this. You have the Micra GTi-R with an SR20, an Almera with the V8 from the 350z and many more. I guess they got it a bit from Renault, when they were crazy and added a V6 with 250hp to the back of a 1000kg car

The reason you have to pay for stuff to be taken out of the car is I believe In forza 4 they explain that the last weight reduction is actually acid dipping your body and frame.

Basically,nismo is waiting for a new nissan sports or supercar but there's a lot of time between Each one. So they do fun stuff like the juke gtr . Then they run out of stuff to do again and decide to tune every nissan in the line up.

The Nismo Sentra is about 30k out the door. The base GTR is about 130k otd. Sad thing is the Nismo Sentra engine can be had in the normal Sentra SR which is a few grand less. All the Nismo has is the body kit, wheels. Seats and a swaid headliner.
