Hey everybody! Thanks for watching. Never got a chance to make this a while back because of the insane amount of game releases this season, but now that things are starting to quiet down, and Forza Horizon 4 just released its first expansion (which I'm trying out now), I decided to revist this years biggest racing games and see how they compared. Also, if you want to try it out, The Crew 2 is free this weekend! I think it's available through uPlay on the PC platform.
@@glaiveking2530 u realise that there aren't just circuits in forza, there's dirt races, street races and road races (point a to point b) cross country series and more.
Tino Sandvik Soleng i forgot about this comment i made lol and got crew 2 a month ago, its pretty good. Has so much potential as well. Need lot of support and updates tho. As for forza idk i would atleast like to try it but meh
I love forza and mostly agree.. However the destruction derby dlc that has been added to the crew 2 is not only pretty much free but amazing .. And far better than the rip off paid for DLC forza has released
The Crew 2 Giant Map Gameplay Cars,Boats,Planes Forza Horizon 4 Details Graphics Can destroys Fences/Stonewalls Physics Need for Speed Customisations Sound If Ubisoft(The Crew 2) Microsoft(Forza Horizon 4) EA(Need for Speed) would work together they could made the best Racing Game ever 😍
I still rather play The Crew 2 because of: - Customization - Big Map - The Graphics aren’t actually that bad, ofcourse it’s not as amazing as Forza but it still doesn’t dissapoint, I can assure you that. And just the freeroam possibilities. I can fly over beautiful scenes with online players and race them on so many different circuit tracks, or do a fun road trip from New York to Los Angeles. It’s amazing.
@@nesamanijak12 bro thats not drifting dude..thats some weird gltiched out physics slide...rofl that aint drifting at all dude..u cant even clutch kick
You all didn't saw it good... He drove the car straigt to the wall. And then you saw almost no damage... but the car in fh4 had a lot of scratches. But he showed that the car CAN BE DAMAGED realy bad in the crew 2... Just learn to understand someones explaination before judging the person...
The first person is a little bit clunky and all over the place. You should try Ride 3. Amazing biking game, and it has the best 1st person i have ever seen on bikes. You can even choose if you want to have the helmet on or not in first person.
moto vlogs same but in my opinion looks have a lot to do with how you enjoy the game not as much as how it plays but beautiful looking games are generally the best ones
4:29 i dont agree with the fact that the crew 2 has worse crash details to me fh4 was just a crap ton of scratches unlike the crew 2 it had a more realistic affect
Forza and the crew are opposite when I comes to that Crew: bunch of dents and folds, with no scratches at all Forza: very minimum bends and folds he’ll load of scratches 😂
In the back off the cars forza destruction is way better and if don't want it you can turn it off and if you something more realistic you can turn on the simulation destruction
Completely disagree on the damage part, I turned off damage in Forza because it looks so bad. At least in the crew the cars dent and the body panels misalign, rather than just getting really scratched up.
I feel like forza needs to improve on that i did notice that since FH2 till now i been a long tome player and they need to work on customization and damage more
@@garrettscott827 I think one of the reasons damage is turned down is car licensing. Car manufacturers would not like to have any bad image or thought surrounding their vehicles.
Neither one is at all realistic once you hop in any kind of Hypercar, which are all made of Carbon Fiber. These things should be splintering and tearing, "Dents" are a thing of the past.
If you have a pc with a semi-capable graphics card, you can buy it on the Microsoft store and play it with your PS4 controller. They optimized the game really well, so you don't need strong components to run it well.
@@hamilton_reacts I recently tested the game. And on Xbox One (the very old one, the big black toaster) it feels strange because it goes under 30Fps very often.
Crazy thing is I'm a Forza guy. Been that way for a decade. But despite Forza Horizon 4 obviously looking a whole lot better, I want to spend more time driving on the Crew 2's map of USA where as most of the time find my self just rushing to complete the Horizon Playlist to unlock cars on FH4 but not actually wanting to spend time driving around FH4's UK map. And I LOVED FH3's Australian map more than any of the other Horizon maps, but at first when i played the Crew 2 I was like "Wow this looks terrible and is too arcadey", but gave it another shot this year and man I'm addicted to the Crew 2. The map is so fun and graphics whilst not as great as FH4 are very impressive considering the games got like the 2nd biggest map in racing game history and then all those different types of vehicles not to mention the traffic actually does realistic speeds so feels like they are actually going somewhere where as in FH4 they seem aimless to me, serving as more of an obstacle than mimicking real traffic. I really like FH4 (but prefer 3), but now I find myself playing a lot more Crew 2 than FH4. The Crew 2 graphically scales (and plays) more like NFS Heat than FH4.
The crew 2 is a good and fun game with a big map, different variety of vehicles like boats and planes. but you can't compare this game with FH4. Forza is a better game with detailed graphics, better multiplayer, car list and diferent seasons.
XxKiller Boy10xX cuz it is! You can’t compare mean crew 2 is just god awful compared to what fh4 has to offer... (seasons that actually works, physics on which my kids will probably learn to drive on! Dynamic lighting that makes the world feel much better and realistic , models that actually looks good. Not that huge of a world so it looks alive and you can make a full drive of the map in about 5-6 h of gameplay, so you don’t get bored driving 1/2 an hour to get to that freaking city.... do I have to enumerate more?? )
@@jacoblapointe8181 Good luck flying a plane or riding a boat in Forza. I'm totally unbiased, I always buy both games because they're so different to each other.. Forza is focused on the ground, that's it. And they do it good, since that's the main focus of the game. The Crew focuses more on actual motorsport.. Which includes water, ground and sky. Three elements, and they succeeded, which is very impressive.
Agent Rabbit It’s true lol the mustang they showed on FH4 is a 2018+ GT. TC2 has the 2015-2017 version. They updated a good bit for the 18+ MY Mustangs.
A year later from the release of The crew 2, and the game is still fun and enjoyable to play, free roam and u will meet new players almost everyday, new events every week..etc That is a statement of how good The Crew 2 is.
@@Phoenix_VR i own the crew, the crew 2, forza, need for speed - whatever racing game you name it if i just look at the first 2 mentioned i would rather play the first ''the crew'' than lay my hand on the second part, it's a bad game with an almost empty world if you compare both maps and it's details, the color grading in the crew 2 is way too 'jumpy' as in some plants are greener than my face after a hard night at the pub - while some things like reflections got better, they tuned down the shadows a lot, my guess is because they had trouble using planes with good shadows and stuff and as far as i am concerned with fh4, even though it does have it's own problems, it is ahead of the first crew game, depending on what you search for you could maybe say it's on par with the first crew game too but that's a personal choice
@@lordium1848 that's a bad excuse....horizon 4 was released sept 28th 2018.....same year as the crew. And even then, those lights look like 20 years old lmao
@@jEazy345 you have to sacrifice something to get something man, tc2 have map and overall anything, you want go anywhere? Just go you can, while fh4 have car and detail
@@jfjdncnxnsma but not as extremely as The Crew. The acceleration and handling in the Crew is more forgiving and more arcady. Forza Horizon's physics go more into the direction of Forza Motorsport and the like.
@AudiR8Fanboy Why do u cant drive when u play a arcade racer that makes really fun? For example I play GT Sport also for realistic races etc and play TC2 for road trips or Something with friends.
@@milanusfrapanus Not trying to pick a fight here but I don't see your point by saying that. The comment section is to let people discuss the video and let each other know their opinion. But instead you have to leave a comment like that. Just look at ALL the comment in here, you could literally reply to all the people with your "so? That's ur opinion". etc. Forza is more detailed and has better graphics - so? That's ur opinion. The crew 2 has : a MUCH MUCH bigger map, MOTORCYCLES, BOATS, AIRPLANES, YOU CAN CHANGE FROM AIRPLANE TO CAR LIKE IN MIDAIR INSTANT, FIRST PERSON ON MOTORCYCLES - so? That's ur opinion. The crew two looks good but there will never be a game like forza 4 - so? That's ur opinion. If crew to graphics were as detailed as fh4 game size would have been 200 gb.. - so? That's ur opinion. If that how you reply to other peoples opinion then whats the point of discussing the game? I don't think I need to go on and copy other comments to let you see how pathetic and childish your comment was. Like I said, not trying to pick fight here, just letting you know.
Just what I think would be the perfect racing game. -forzas graphics and car design -asseto corsas car sounds and realism -need for speeds customization -beamng or grids crash physics -the crews map Tell me what you guys think
The Crew 2 is a huge open world game with a ton of vehicles and that's why it lacks graphic quality. Even is real life you can easily tell that U.S.A. is a lot bigger than the UK.
@Qeycon What is the point of looking more realistic when it doesn't look better. I prefer Horizon 4 but crew 2 looks very nice even by being ultra unrealistic and cartoonish.
@Qeycon I had to click to someone's name so I clicked to your name. Nothing related to you. I also know that horizon 4 has better graphics and I believe it has better physics and map. I prefer small but detailed maps like burnout paradise, nfs mw 2012 and Horizon 4
ht8 Quackzter sorry but crew 2 kicks forza hands down in open world, the seamless experience between air, land, and sea vehicles is just amazing, while forza may be of higher quality in general, the crew 2 is the definition of open world
RankedELO drive club is real good, there’s no open world but it has the best sense of speed, but that 30fps is just a big no for me, I wish it came to pc
@@v1nigra3 the crew has planes boats and motorcycles but Forza ( clears throat ) has better traffic has a better map ( more detail ) fun roads better lighting shadows textures more cars more brand deals ( hot wheels 007 ect ) and more maps ( dlc ) and has more live events how is having more ways to travel a lonely map better ( btw have played both games love them both but I have to give Forza the advantage )
Dang I was getting ready to argue with someone, but damn forza looks good, however I played it, and when it comes to gameplay I prefer the crew 2. Although Hiro is like jar jar binks to me.
I know what you mean, if I was stuck in a room with a gun, holding two bullets, having to shoot either hiro or hitler himself.. well... . I'd shoot hitler twice. I'd want to beat hiro to death with my bare hands.
Why cant games like forza have good smoke effects? Id love to do a massive burnout with lasting smoke. And id really like damage that looks and even feels real. But yeah forza is better than the crew.
I agree on both things, good smoke would be lit. So would damage. If they could mix the Crew and FH4 damage it would look great. And yeah smoke that lasts for awhile would be cool
I have both, and if you can get both I recommend it. If you can only get on I recommend the crew 2 for just straight fun. If you want more realism, better graphics, and more realism I recommend forza horizon 4, although the game does get boring in a matter of months.
Mr.Magma People with PC cry over the fact that not every game is available on one store (Steam) and some are exclusively available on Epic store even though it would not take them 600 dollars to use both Epic store and Steam.
The Crew 2 is overall the best racing game because, even though Forza has better graphics that doesn’t match up against a big map, the ability to fly a plane and race a boat, and a better sound quality The Crew 2 is the better game.
"Doesn't match quality of forzas damage" bruh forzas damage is literally just lots of scratches but on the crew it is actually banged up. Are you okay?
I love forza, I absolutely love it, But.... the sounds of the engines in Forza are kinda crappy, well I will elaborate. The sounds just sound very synthetic, the don’t sounds like it’s a recording it doesn’t sound real, it sounds like it was completely designed and made on a computer instead of recorded and edited.
B1ue because water graphics aint important to a game, and other than that there is just some smoke - who cares? lighting, shadow and overall quality is in fh4 just way more better.
@@jannevoigt5653 if you want adrenaline without exploring then you can buy the NFS heat otherwise if you want both then go ahead to the crew. 😅 it's your choice 😋 Games are for fun and virtual freedom!
@@jannevoigt5653 I think Forza horizon 4 it has 450+ cars. Where the nfs heat has only ≈127. I have no idea about the crew 2 I think 200 with the water cars with flying care 😅..... Chek that out!! But I can give you 100% Gurentee that the Forza horizon 4 has the most impressive graphics ☺..
The reason for the crew 2 quality is because of the different selection of different things like boats and planes, also the crew 2 has a massive map, and this Ubisofts 2nd game for cars, i think. If I here is a crew 3 the graphics will most likely be like forza horizon 3 as the crew 2 is like forza horizon 2
Forza 4-5 has a very bad sound design. Very tough equalization. The middle frequencies are completely cut off and you can't feel the power of the motor. So, you can't feel "the power of motorsport."
