What a note to go on. I just pray for FH5 to have a more balanced approach to its cars' roster in ranked and casual online modes, without having to refer to a car's PI rating, because here, it's almost indefensible.
I was really hoping this car would be good when it was announced, but I had a feeling it would be a lot like the Lotus 2-Eleven and 3-Eleven where the PI balance is off and the handling doesn't make up for the lack of speed. They're fun to drive just not very competitive.
Bruh I would use rally tires. They do good enough in the dry and the car is light. You could add more power and get higher on that track test for surrrree
The problem is that car was designed for circuit condition where low ground clearance is a must. If you changed that suspension to higher one with rally tires (less contact to road), you will have very bouncy cars that can make your car spin a lot. I already tested it and he was quite right about it, so many problems on that car despite it was very light yet it relies too much on downforce aero. Tried using stock settings and it was not good at all because when you tail them from behind, dirty air will messed your cornering which caused understeer most of time. Playing on keyboard required lots of tap and smooth precision while using Steering wheel need delicate cornering while easing on pedal during corner to achieve good stability.
I already tried rally tires and it is still slower on the track. You sacrifice a lot of handling for acceleration and the top speed barely improve because the car has massive drag (finish line straight 201mph vs 208mph). And generally rally tires on S2 for dry is a bad idea and don't do well unless you are trying to convert a wet penalty car.
RIP VUHL 05RR. It also sucks that FH5 won't be returning to one of the older PI systems with F, E, R3, R2, and R1. I feel like it could decompress the roster in terms of performance.
It seems like FH5 is adopting a more balanced PI system that's being used in FM7. The Vauxhall Monaro in that video was a B class (stock) whereas in FH4 its A class (stock). This is a good sign that not every vehicle will be overpowered, but keep in mind that cars in Horizon will always have a Meta. It's not escapable for a game that gives you loads of options to swap engines.
Yeah, I remember fm7 having a huge issue with that. I remember the koenigsegg one:1 being the best hypercar but you could never abuse it because it’s pi was too high and to balance it it’s now slower than the rest of the cars in be class
@@scoredbuffalo31 I'm well aware of that. I wasn't really a fan of the homologation method the game imposes in your face but it did a great job at balancing PI across all divisions even though there were some cars that were a tad bit faster than they should be like the known OP40. I'd like to think we can be more competitive in Horizon 5 with its new PI system especially with an RWD because I get sick of AWD swapping everything to be competitive.
Title " VUUL is 1 of the worst in dry S2" G-ma proceeds to 3 podium finishes 🤣 lmao. You and Don Joewon Song are absolutely amazing!! I love watching you guys. For different reasons though. Your an amazing racer while he is a stunt God!!!
If you max the front and rear rim size and put on heavy rims you can squeeze 100 more HP out of it, I won quite a few races with that Also my friend 7L turned this into a dirt car and got top 70 in rivals with it
@@momoloco99rh Being a track car, driver comfort isn't really it's top priority. What I meant is in terms of handling. He tested a car that is performs well at wet: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C0bMUR6rhqE.html
This is the worst tune I have ever seen. The VUHL is one of my top 3 tunes and I have been tuning since FH1. My gamer tag is "Cypher Punk" its also in my top 10 tunes for FH5.
Tbh I actually like this car its so much fun when your racing with friends I dont get how people are struggling to race with this car its not hard to drive and has plenty of grip on corners and stop comparing this car to super cars ofc it cant keep up with them when the only engine swap it has is the 3.8L V8
The shitty part about this car being bad is that it's actually not even bad to drive. It just sucks. Literally only good for racing it against itself. Also, Suimin is the second fastest person I've ever raced against in my 16 years of Forza. The first fastest is THR Lightnin. Never been beat so bad in my life.
Hello, is there much difference between basic manual and manual with clutch in this game? I will try to drive manual in rivals so I could get used to it, I blame my automatic childhood thanks.
manual with clutch can be faster with some cars like older Bugatti. in general, learn manual and go for clutch if you want to further improve your skills
It depends on the car. Cars with stock AWD drivetrain will be much faster with manual clutch. AWD swapped car, there is no difference between the 2 and often in Rivals people use manual for it.
He uses a keyboard so there is no gradual braking, which means whenever he applies brakes, its pressed in all the way. So, he uses ABS to prevent wheels from locking up.
I'm not even american, and I'm stating facts of the game. So the fastest car in my testing is the Ferrari FXX, Ferrari 599 Evo and Zonda, so I am Italian?
